Our partner, Primary English Teaching Association Australia (PETAA), would like to congratulate all the teachers and students participating in the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge! PETAA is a proud supporter of the challenge, and of the work teachers do every day in schools to transform student lives with reading, imagination, and learning.

“It is not enough to simply teach children to read; we have to share worthwhile books – that will stretch their imaginations, help them make sense of their worlds and lives – and encourage them to reach out to people who are different to themselves – who lead different lives” (Katherine Patterson, author of Bridge to Terabithia).
