Just a bit of fun news to share - I run a contemporary vocal group called Sound Squad at , and we’ve been invited by to perform on the Main Stage at tomorrow, singing with one of the epic headline artists, !
I’ve been having a great time arranging, recording, and rehearsing harmonies of Adam’s awesome songs with the group in the lead-up!
Zest Fest is a FREE, family-friendly music festival! 🙌 There are two stages - Main Stage (national acts) and Local Stage (Central West artists), lots of food and drink vendors, market stalls, kids’ activities, art activations, and more.
Pre-admission tickets have sold out, but gates open to the public from 5:00pm. So even if you haven’t registered, you can still come along and support the future of Australian music! 🤘

ORC Counterpoint has been on FIRE lately!! 🔥🎶 (Counterpoint is the Contemporary youth vocal ensemble at the Orange Regional Conservatorium).
They were invited to sing at a charity fundraising event for Can Assist (an organisation that provides financial assistance and personal support to country people affected by cancer) at the The Rustic Bean and they sang absolutely beautifully. Attendees at the event said that their performances “made the night”. 🥰❤️
Then, just this week they were awarded First Place in the Senior Vocal Ensemble section at the City of Orange Eisteddfod! 🏅🏆
Congratulations Counterpoint!! 👏🎉
(Fun fact: The trophy they won is the same trophy the Vocalocity Leura group won in 2019! How cool is that?! 😊).
🌟 Alina Caganoff has won the title of ‘Best in the West’! 🌟
Sixteen year old singer/songwriter and student of Amelia Nell, Alina Caganoff, came away with the title of “Best in the West”, after winning the inaugural singer-songwriter competition at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre last Friday night. Alina was the youngest in the competition and impressed the judges with a powerful performance of her original song, ‘The Man in the Painting’.

How fabulous was our 2022 End-of-Year Singing Concert?! 😍
There were 52 students of all ages and stages involved in 21 songs all together. Congratulations to all our beautiful singers!! I am so very proud of each and every one of you. 🥰🎶

Enjoyed a beautiful day at the Carcoar Show yesterday - thank you to everyone who came out! 🥰🎶 It was lovely to see some familiar faces and catch up with old friends as well as meet fabulous new people and make some great connections!

Not long ago, I had a lovely music gift shop in Leura (up the piano key stairs for those who remember!) and I'm excited to announce that I'm bringing it back in a new form. First stop... the Carcoar Show THIS SATURDAY 29th October!! 😍
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the "Best Little Show in the Country" in "the town time forgot" where I'm building my new home. I'll have all the favourites at my stall from the 'Chopin Liszt' to the 'Too Hot To Handel' oven gloves. 🥰🎶

Introducing Counterpoint - the new Orange Regional Conservatorium contemporary youth vocal ensemble! 🌟
Congratulations to these awesome singers for singing so beautifully last night in their debut performance at the ORC Choral Gala - super proud of you all! ☺️🎶
And that’s a wrap for Term 1 2022 in Orange! 🥳 The Easter Bunny even hopped in to Studio 1 at the Orange Regional Conservatorium along with the swish new keyboard! 🐰🎹

This coming Friday 11th June, Amelia Nell and the Vocalocity Vocal Ensemble will be at Korowal School for a combined Singing and Beatboxing Concert and Workshop! 😃 🎶
All Korowal students are invited to join in and sing together as Amelia and the Vocalocity singers teach everyone a song in three-part harmony and ex-Korowal student, Loki, will also teach some of his impressive beatboxing! 🎤
We’re so looking forward to this fun-filled afternoon dedicated to the joy of singing in a group and we can't wait to hear all of Korowal singing together! See you on Friday, Korowal! 😃 🎶
