Three simple ways to encourage someone younger in the faith this week.

You do not need a title or a theology degree to mentor. You need a willing heart and a listening ear.

1. Ask, then listen. "How is your walk with the Lord right now?" opens more doors than any sermon.
2. Share your story. Younger believers are strengthened to hear how God carried you through hard seasons.
3. Open the Word together. Read one passage, and ask: "What is this saying to you today?"

Paul told Timothy to entrust what he had learned "to faithful men who will be able to teach others also" (2 Timothy 2:2).

If you would love to be better equipped for this kind of ministry, our no-obligation Taster Programme is a gentle place to begin, at your own pace and from home.

From Sunday school volunteer to ordained pastor — and Vision was part of the journey.

When David first enrolled in the Vision Taster Programme, he wasn't sure what to expect. He'd been volunteering at his local church for years — teaching the children's programme, leading a small group, and quietly wondering if God was calling him to something more.

"I kept putting it off," he says. "I thought I couldn't afford it, couldn't fit it in around work, and honestly — I wasn't sure I was academic enough."

What David discovered changed everything. He studied in the evenings, at his own pace, fitting modules around his job and family. No campus. No fixed timetable. Just him, the Word, and a growing sense of purpose.

Three years later, David completed his Bachelor of Theology and was ordained as a pastor in his home church. Today he leads a congregation of more than 200 people — and still says that Vision gave him the confidence to step into what God had already placed on his heart.

Is God nudging you toward something more? You don't have to put it off any longer.

Three questions every small group leader should be asking — but often isn't.

Small group ministry is one of the most powerful tools in the local church. When it works well, it builds genuine community, deepens faith, and multiplies discipleship. But many small group leaders feel like they're improvising rather than leading with intention.

Here are three questions worth sitting with this week:

1. Am I asking questions that invite people deeper — or just questions they can answer without thinking?
Questions like "What does this passage say?" are a starting point. But "Where do you see this truth challenging you right now?" creates the kind of honest reflection that leads to real change.

2. Am I making space for the quiet voices?
In most groups, two or three people do most of the talking. A skilled leader notices who hasn't spoken and finds gentle, non-pressuring ways to invite them in.

3. Do my group members know they are loved — not just informed?
Bible knowledge matters. But the goal of a healthy small group isn't just information transfer. It's transformation — and transformation happens in relationships where people feel truly known.

These principles sit at the heart of what we explore across our theology and ministry programmes. If you're ready to go deeper in your own preparation as a leader, we'd love to introduce you to the Vision Taster Programme — no obligation, no pressure, just great learning designed around your life.

There's a moment — maybe you've already had it — when you sense that God is calling you to something deeper. Deeper in His Word. Deeper in faith. Maybe even deeper into ministry.

If that's you, you're not alone. Young Christians around the world are discovering that a solid biblical foundation doesn't just grow their faith — it transforms the way they lead, serve, and live out their calling.

At Vision Bible College, we believe that calling shouldn't be held back by geography, finances, or a packed schedule. That's why we built our programmes entirely online — no campus, no fixed timetables, no pressure. You study at your own pace, in your own time, from wherever God has placed you in the world.

Not sure where to start? Our no-obligation Taster Programme lets you explore before you commit. No enrolment, no obligation — just you, your Bible, and a growing sense of what God might be stirring in you.

Whether you're deepening your personal faith or taking your first steps toward ministry, there's a pathway here for you.

"I thought my season for serious study had passed."

So many of our students tell us the same thing. After decades of faithful service in the church, they sense God stirring something more, and they quietly wonder whether it is too late.

It is not. Some of the most fruitful ministry begins in the later chapters of life, when you bring wisdom, patience and a lifetime of walking with the Lord to the Word.

At Vision, you can study from your own kitchen table, one subject at a time, at your own pace. No campus. No fixed timetable. No student loans. And if you are not sure yet, our Taster Programme carries no obligation at all.
