☺️ FROZEN FRIDAY ☀️

The mud pies and leaf lattes took a well-earned break at the LPS Cafe on Friday. Instead of serving up imaginary delights, our SRC dished out icy treats to a queue of very enthusiastic customers. The winter sunshine made a special guest appearance, and there were smiles (and sticky fingers!) all around.

⭐️⭐️Family movie night⭐️⭐️

Come join us down at Lethbridge Football Netball Club tonight for a fun filled movie night. Canteen with be open to puchase food, as well as the bar for the adults. We'll have lots of delicious goods for sale including popcorn and ice creams. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!!

🌟 Learning Celebration 🌟
As Term 2 comes to a close, we would like to thank all the families who attended our Learning Celebration event. Whether you were able to visit our classrooms in person or have seen a work sample come home, thankyou for joining us in celebrating the progress and achievements of our students throughout Term 2.
The Learning Celebration was a wonderful afternoon filled with curious parents, proud students, and meaningful conversations about learning.
It was fantastic to see students confidently sharing their work and celebrating their growth and achievements. Thank you for helping us make the event such a special occasion.

Our Year 3 students are having a highly rewarding time at camp, participating in a range of activities including archery, the giant swing and team challenges, all while demonstrating impressive teamwork and perseverance!

🥳 HAPPY ES DAY! 🥳
Education Support Personnel (ESP) Day is celebrated annually on May 16 to recognise the incredible contributions of school support staff and over the past few days, we have loved celebrating our amazing ES team!
To show our appreciation, our teaching staff encouraged the ES team to “put their feet up” with an extra cup of tea while teachers covered their breaktime activities. We also shared a special morning tea together.
Whether our ES team are offering a helping hand in the classroom, calming big feelings, locating missing jumpers, preparing bandaids and cold packs at record speed, or celebrating every success (big and small!) they do it all with endless patience, care, humour, and heart.

Quite simply, schools do not run without them!

We have also loved seeing some of our students celebrating our ES team with thoughtful cards and kind words. It has been a wonderful reminder of just how valued and appreciated they truly are.

Thank you to our incredible ES staff for everything you do for our students, staff, and school community every single day. We are so lucky to have you!

CELEBRATING MOTHER'S DAY 🥳
Mother’s Day may have been over a week ago, but on Wednesday we were delighted to celebrate our wonderful mums and special people with an afternoon tea at school.
Our students were incredibly proud to help make the afternoon so special, from decorating table runners with care and creativity, to carefully preparing cucumber sandwiches, serving delicious scones, and pouring cups of tea like seasoned professionals! There was also a craft activity, where students worked patiently alongside their special guests, sharing laughs and creating memories together.
It was a warm and joyful afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, sunshine and appreciation. We are so grateful to all the mums, carers, grandparents, and special people who joined us!

🏃‍♀️‍➡️CROSS COUNTRY🏃‍♂️
The District Cross Country event held at the Don Wallace Reserve in Teesdale was a wonderful day filled with energy and encouragement. Students showed great determination as they tackled the course, giving their best effort and supporting each another along the way. Well done to our participants from Lethbridge, who represented our school with pride and enthusiasm - we are very proud of your efforts!

Special congratulations to Darcy and Baxter, who will represent LPS at the next level of the competition! 🏆
