💛 Bringing Generations Together – A Special Visit to Kensington Grange! 💛

There is something truly magical about bringing together the youngest and oldest members of our community! 🥰

Our Kangaroo children had another beautiful visit with our friends at Kensington Grange, sharing a morning filled with laughter, smiles, conversations and plenty of fun! 🌸

From playing games and tossing colourful balls into buckets to sharing their beautiful artwork and simply sitting together for a chat, it was heartwarming to watch the genuine connections between our children and the residents. ❤️

At Kidscape, we believe that community is about connection, belonging and bringing people together, no matter their age.

These intergenerational experiences are so much more than just an excursion. They provide our children with opportunities to develop empathy, kindness, respect and an appreciation for older generations, while giving our elderly friends the joy, energy and companionship that little people bring so naturally.

It’s a beautiful reminder that friendship has no age limit and that we all have something special to offer one another. 💕

Watching the residents’ faces light up as our Kangaroos walk through the doors, and seeing our children confidently engage with their older friends, is something incredibly special.

We are so grateful for our ongoing friendship with Kensington Grange and the opportunity to build these meaningful relationships within our local community.

To Kidscape Leopold Educators,

Today the children who had the opportunity to hand out gifts were so incredibly proud to do so. I spent some time talking with the children about why today was a special day and why Educators’ Day is important. Some of their responses were simply beautiful:

💛 “It’s important because our teachers love us and we love them.”

💛 “Today is important because our teachers teach us so that we can be really brave and smart.”

💛 “If I had a million bucks, I’d buy our teachers lots of lollies because they are so clever.”

💛 “We give them presents because they are always there.”

To me, these little voices said everything.

They showed just how incredible you all are and the impact you have on the children every single day. Our children see you as reliable, dependable, smart, loving, knowledgeable and, most importantly, safe.

In my eyes, there is no greater honour than being trusted and loved by a child. ❤️

Today, I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you. Thank you for the love, care, passion and dedication you bring to our children and to Kidscape Leopold every day.

🔬✨ Science Week at Kidscape Leopold! ✨🔬
What an exciting Science Week we are having! 🌱🌈 Our little scientists have been busy exploring, experimenting and discovering how plants absorb water.
Using white flowers, coloured water and celery, the children were able to observe how water travels through a plant’s stem and makes its way up into the flower. 🌸💧
The children were fascinated watching the colours slowly appear and enjoyed making predictions about what they thought would happen. Through hands-on experiences like this, we’re encouraging curiosity, questioning, problem-solving and a love of learning. 🧪👩‍🔬👨‍🔬
Who knew science could be so much fun? 💚

There’s something magical about stepping outside the four walls of our centre and exploring the world around us! 🌏💚
When children get out into the community, they discover new places, meet new people, experience different environments and, most importantly, have the freedom to let their imaginations run wild! 🧚‍♀️🦖🚀
A simple walk can become a dinosaur adventure, a visit to the park can turn into an imaginary jungle, and a trip through the community can spark endless questions, conversations and discoveries. 🐾🌳🔍
These experiences help children build confidence, develop a sense of belonging, connect with their community and learn that adventure and learning can happen anywhere! 💫
At Kidscape, we love giving children the opportunity to explore, wonder, imagine and discover the world around them. Because sometimes the best learning happens when little feet are out exploring and little minds are free to dream! 💕🌈

Today our Echidna and Emu rooms had Tracey from the roaming reptiles come and visit.
Our children loved learning about lizards, turtles, snakes and crocodiles. The children and educators were very brave getting up close with the reptiles. Such a fun day.

Kidscape Wonders – Where Curiosity and Creativity Come to Life.✨

Today, our wonderful Miss Chez, also known as ‘Master Chez hosted her weekly cooking class with our Echidna children! 👩‍🍳🥐

Today's menu was homemade sausage rolls and our young chefs had a fantastic time measuring ingredients, mixing, rolling pastry, and creating their own delicious treats. Cooking experiences like these help children develop confidence, fine motor skills, early maths concepts, teamwork, and independence, all while having so much fun.

We are so lucky to offer these engaging extra-curricular programs at Kidscape Early Learning Centre Leopold providing children with meaningful opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and let their curiosity and creativity shine.

Our children are absolutely loving our new 3D printer, and we can't wait to watch their incredible ideas come to life! 🖨️✨
3D printing is a wonderful way to inspire curiosity, creativity, and imagination. As children design, create, and explore, they're also developing important early STEM skills, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, spatial awareness, and perseverance, all through hands-on, play-based learning.
We're so excited to see what our little creators and innovators dream up next! 🌟💛
