As many of you will be aware, Wise Owl Learning is closing its Melbourne chapter and looking ahead to Ballina. My newsletter for the end of the year shares my reflections and gratitude as I say farewell to this community -

Whilst I am very excited about our new adventure, I will admit that this week has been a little tricky, especially saying goodbye to my students, their families and my office in Briar Hill.

I would like to acknowledge how grateful I am to Katy Dib and her fabulous staff at Elysium Psychology for always making me feel like one of the team. I will miss you.

Thank you also to the beautiful families that I have worked with over the ten years since I left Eltham East Primary School. It’s such a privilege to have worked with your children.

Thank you Anthony Tham for helping me to empty my office and for always believing in me. Thanks also for being my Tech Wizard.

Yes, I may end up with another office in NSW at some stage, but it won’t be THIS one, and THESE people. I know how lucky I am 🍀

We have sold our home of 18 years and are moving to northern NSW in mid-January. That means that I will be taking a break from Wise Owl Learning for a while as we settle in to our new home and decide what’s next.

My last day of teaching from the Greensborough office is Friday 12th December.

Thank you to all the families and schools that I have worked with over the last 10 years. It has been a privilege and a joy.
