🏆Happy Father's Day!💙
This morning our school community came together to celebrate the wonderful fathers, grandfathers and special father figures in our lives with a joyful Father's Day Breakfast followed by a beautiful Liturgy.

It was a special opportunity to give thanks for the love, guidance and support these important people bring to our families each day. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this morning such a warm and memorable celebration.

We wish all of our dads and father figures a very happy and blessed Father's Day on Sunday. 💙🙏

Year 1 Science Fun! ✨🔦

Year 1 have been investigating the mysteries of light and discovering how it interacts with different materials. Through hands-on experiments, students explored how light can pass through, be blocked by, or be reflected from a variety of objects. There was plenty of curiosity, wonder, and excitement as our young scientists made predictions, tested their ideas, and shared their discoveries! 🌟🔍

🎤🗣️ Stage 3 Interschool Debating with St James Glebe!

Our Stage 3 students took to the debating floor to tackle the thought-provoking topic: “Screen time is the greatest health challenge young people are facing.” 📱💭

Students presented compelling arguments, challenged ideas and demonstrated fantastic confidence, critical thinking and teamwork.

A wonderful opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion and develop their skills as young speakers and thinkers. 👏🌟

Well done to all our debaters - we’re incredibly proud of you!

The Friend‑O‑Meter is one of our favourite URSTRONG tools for helping children recognise how their friendships are feeling. It gives students a clear, visual way to pause and reflect on their friendships.

How it works:

Green Zone: “My friendships feel strong and steady”.

Yellow Zone: “Something feels a bit off. Maybe a small Friendship Fire.”

Red Zone: “I’m feeling upset or disconnected. I might need support.”

By checking in regularly, students learn to recognise their emotions, spot Friendship Fires early, and use their Friendology skills to strengthen their connections.
