St. Joseph's Primary School, Leeton

St. Joseph's Primary School, Leeton K-6 Catholic Primary School St Joseph's Primary School Leeton is a Catholic Primary School nestled in the centre of town.

The Josephite Sisters founded our school in October 1917. The school opened with nearly one hundred students in classes from Year One to Year Six. From these foundations stem our strong Josephite traditions. The school offers a warm, welcoming and safe environment for the children. St Joseph's is a Catholic School centred on the teachings of Jesus. Quality teaching programmes offer all students th

e opportunity for growth and success. The St Joseph's school spirit is evident in the way parents, teachers and students interact and work together for the betterment of the children and the school. Parents are actively involved in many facets of school life. Communication between parents, staff and students is encouraged and valued. The classes range from Kindergarten to Year Six and the school is a learning environment for our students in a caring and suppportive way. Many varied programmes allow for students who have special skills or talents and programmes exist for students who need extra support. A thorough assessment tool is used in Year One in Literacy and Numeracy to identify students at risk and programmes are in place to cater for these students. At St Joseph's we value a community which supports and nurtures children as today's children, tomorrow's adults.

On Friday, 28th August, Stage 3 students from around the Diocese gathered at the St. Michael's Cathedral precinct in Wagga for 'Day in the Diocese.' The students spent the day learning about their faith, participating in workshops, and attending a special Mass celebrated by Bishop Mark. Thank you to everyone who assisted with the event.

šŸ’ Teacher’s Assistant and Support Staff Appreciation Week šŸ’

This week, we took the opportunity to celebrate and say a very special thank you to our wonderful Teacher’s Assistants and Support Staff! šŸ’›

They all play such an important role in our school community, supporting our students, teachers and families with patience, care and dedication each and every day.

To show our appreciation, we celebrated together with a special morning tea, while individual classes also found their own special ways to thank the TAs who support them. 🄰

We are incredibly grateful for everything these staff members do behind the scenes and alongside our students each day. Our school simply wouldn’t be the same without you!

Thank you for all that you do! šŸŒŸšŸ’

Church St & Coolibah St Drive Through Pick Up

If you are using the Church St or Coolibah St Pick Up, please wait in the queue in your vehicle. The queue moves forward quickly.
Please don’t get out of your vehicle and come to the gate, as a stationary car impedes traffic flow.

Please be mindful of driveways, there have been complaints of cars parking in the school and neighbouring driveways.

If you wish to meet your child at either of the gates, please park elsewhere, eg at the front of the church and walk to the school to collect your child.

Many thanks for your help and understanding.
