🚨🚨🚨🚤Wow! What a wonderful experience visiting the Narrandera rescue Squad this morning. The children got to sit in the recuse squad boats and the car and play with the sirens and see the flashing lights. We learn’t about the role in which they play for our community and how they assist us when we need help. A big thank you to Wayne and Tammy from Narrandera Rescue Squad for your time! 🚤🚨🚨🚨and fished off with play in the park and lunch

🚓👮🏽 We were so lucky to talk to Jasmine today about The job of a Police officer and how we keep safe doing our every day activities like riding a bike with our helmets on, wearing our seat belts in the car, holding our parents hand when we are walking etc. Next week we will get to go to the leeton police station for a look and to check out the police vehicles.👮🏽🚓

We had a swim, lamingtons, koalas in a creek( morning tea), iced Australia day biscuits, facepainting, tattoos, a “snag” in bread, pies, sausage rolls and We learn’t the Australian anthem, aussie slang, read Australian stories- possum magic, learn’t about our country and all the australian animals, Australia food and Australian sport🇦🇺💙🥰

DONT FORGET OUR DISCO IS TOMORROW NIGHT! 5:30pm-8pm: I will be collecting children from the black daycare gate (where the daycare sign is) so come through the electric gate at the front first. As this is a registered COVID event out of work hours, no parents will be able to come past the gate. ALL PARENTS MUST SIGN IN CHILDREN ON THE CLIPBOARDS AT THE GATE! Can all children please have these things:
🟡 a cold drinkbottle- with name on it
🟡bag - if needing pull ups etc. toilet training may be hard on the night so resort to pullups if need be!
🟡sunscreen will need to be applied at home (as there will be too many children to do this at the same time)
🟡spray children with mosquito spray ( will be at front gate as well) they are bad at the moment at night!
🟡all children will need a hat on please as it wont be fully dark at the time of the disco!
🟡 high vis clothes/ fluro is the theme!glow party!

🦒🦒🦒HEALTHY HAROLD VISITS JESS’ FAMILY DAYCARE! We had the best time meeting healthy harold today and learning about everyday foods and sometimes foods, we also learnt about what we do to stay healthy in our daily routine, eg wake up stretch, eat a healthy breakfast, brush our teeth, have a shower, do our hair, play sports and keep active. We played lots of circle time games and we loved when harold came out to see us! We even got to pack Harold a healthy lunchbox to eat and drink! Thank you so much to Fiona Morris the children loved every part of it and were very engaged in the show!🦒🦒🦒

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS: As of January 2021 we are changing our payment system. We are using a new system called Ezy pay which is a direct debit system.( no bank transfers will be used) This will save alot of time for everyone including ourselves as it hard to keep up with everyones fees/payment. This will be used for everyone in care at The Gables Family Daycare including all school children in the holiday period and any casual children that attend care. Other family daycares use this and it has been a huge success. It will save parents having to remember to pay their fees each week. I am able to set up the amount each week and I am able to reimburse if need be. It will be best set up to take out on a friday or saturday as sometimes children pick up extra days through the week or need to start earlier etc so amounts can change. There is a $10 fee for unsufficient funds so it will be managed by you to ensure there is money in your account for fees each week. I will be giving everyone the forms to fill out and i will let you know when this will start next year. Thank you everyone!! 😃

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS: The Gables Family daycare is having our very own glow party disco. Due to COVID we are unable to have Parents attend so this will give parents a few hours off on the 12th December 5:30pm-8pm. Parents will need to drop children to daycare as normal but will sign their child in/out on a COVID safety plan. There will be helpers all with working with children checks and all the children will be in safe hands. We will have a very own DJ and all the awesome equipment to make our glow party amazing! Children can wear white or anything high vis! ( nothing good as you know at daycare we get dirty/paint etc) All food for tea and party food are supplied including glow sticks, glow paint, glow zinc etc. Each child will only need their water bottle. We can only have max of 20 children over the daycares. So it is first in best dressed! please comment your child’s name to reserve their spot on the night. It will cost $10 per child so i will collect before the night! Thank you everyone we hope to see you there!
