We are so excited to announce that our studio-produced short 'Infectious' has just won 'Best Narrative Short' at the New York Independent Cinema Awards 🥳 🏆

Not only that, but one of our other studio-produced shorts 'Snowflakes, also won 'Best Comedy' at the Vegas Shorts 🎉

'Infectious' and 'Snowflakes' were both shot last year on our 2025 Summer Camp! Congratulations to all involved 🎬 🩷

We have also recently been selected/nominated for various other film festivals!

Congratulations are in order for our wonderful studio teacher Megan Aspinall who has booked the role of Lisa in the upcoming Stan original series Two Birds 🪶 🙌
This mystery-thriller will be the first production to film in the brand-new Perth Film Studios! 🎥

The series is led by BAFTA-nominated actress, Sheridan Smith, and follows "...Constable Izzie Cornwell (Smith), who arrives in Dugdale from the UK, hoping for a fresh start, only to have one disastrous misstep pull her into an increasingly tight web of deceit, guilt, and rising danger." (Screenwest)

We are so excited for you Meg - not only the staff, but the many students you teach here at the studio are absolutely beaming with pride and cheering you on every step of the way. We can’t wait to see what’s next 😍

We had so much fun over the weekend at our On-Set Workshop 🚙 🎬
Congratulations to all the youth and adult students who attended 🌟

During the workshop, actors got to film a scene with a professional crew on a real set and familiarise themselves with how the industry works under real conditions ✨

'Vanishing Act' was shot last year with the cast consisting of the students who went on our US Acting Tour! Congratulations to all involved 🎬 🩷

In other good news, we were recently honoured to be selected/nominated for various film festivals, and not only for 'Vanishing Act', but for our other shorts 'Snowflakes' and 'Infectious' too!
