A friendly reminder that our Concert Dress Rehearsal is next Tuesday 8 September. It is a closed rehearsal - student only, so we can surprise you with our fabulous performances on the night 🤩
All students need their black clothes - thankyou to those who have organised theirs already by bringing them to school😀
K12 students with long hair can wear it in a high ponytail or high pig tails.
3-6 students with long hair can chose their hairstyle as long as it is pulled back neatly. 3-6 kids should also bring in their denim baggy shorts / pants for their class performance.
All other costume items will be supplied.
After the rehearsal, students will take their black clothes home. On Thursday they are to arrive to the concert wearing them.

Congratulations to Lexi who participated earlier this year in the Our Australian Soldier Art Competition. The Australian War Memorial Education team looked through hundreds of works and highlighted a small number that they were keen to incorporate into their summer holiday public programming. Lexi's art will be on display at the Australian War Memorial (AWM) from the 22 September 2026.

K12 enjoyed a wonderful day at Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary learning about rescued marine animals, their life cycles & habitats, as well as conservation & local water ways.We saw turtles, penguins, seals & even patted dolphins! What a fabulous day of learning & fun 🐬

These actions show we are following our school values and expectations of being our best, being safe, being respectful and caring for property. Every kind thing we do makes someone’s day better and helps everyone feel better.

Lawrence Public School is looking for local musicians, singers, dancers, performers and community groups to join our students for our Rolling on the River community showcase on Thursday 10 September.

This special evening is all about celebrating the incredible talent within our school and the wider Lawrence community. We'd love to feature a variety of local performances to make it a memorable event for everyone.
