🌿 Bush Kinder at LCCC 🌿
Our Bush Kinder program gives children the opportunity to explore nature, work together, and learn through outdoor play.
During their adventures, children have built a humpy using natural materials, created a yarning circle to share stories, enjoyed marshmallows, and simply run freely across the field.
These experiences support creativity, teamwork, confidence, and a connection with the natural environment.
Bush Kinder also helps children develop a sense of belonging by connecting with their local community, learning about the land they play on, and building respectful relationships with one another and the world around them.

💛National Reconciliation Week at LCCC 🌼
From 27 May to 3 June, LCCC celebrated National Reconciliation Week, learning about and honouring First Nations cultures and our shared histories.
LCCC was filled with yellow, especially on Tuesday when educators wore a touch of yellow to show their support.
Throughout the week, children enjoyed a range of experiences, including a collaborative group project, individual art activities, reading stories about First Nations culture, and making damper together. These experiences encouraged creativity, teamwork, and meaningful discussions about culture, community, and respect.
These experiences helped children build understanding, respect, and appreciation for Australia's rich cultural heritage.
Our Thursday night’s meeting was truly special.
A heartfelt congratulations to the educators who received certificates of acknowledgment from our CEO, Michael.
Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to be part of the LCCC family. Being recognised for dedication, passion, and hard work is more than receiving a certificate.
it is feeling valued and appreciated for the difference we make every day.
Proud to work alongside such inspiring educators and proud to be part of LCCC as a staff member. we continue to support, grow, and make a positive impact in our community together.
🐝 What a busy and exciting week at LCCC! 🐢
On 20 May, we celebrated World Bee Day 🐝 a special day to recognise the important role bees and other pollinators play in our ecosystem. Our children were especially lucky to observe our very own pet bees up close!
We are also celebrating, World Turtle Day on 23 May helping children understand the challenges turtles and tortoises face in the wild due to climate change, pollution, and hunting. Through caring for and learning about our Turbo, children are developing respect, empathy, and awareness about protecting wildlife and their habitats. 🌿🐢
At LCCC, hands-on learning experiences help children build meaningful connections with nature and the world around them. 💛
