A friendly reminder to families that our Sun Safety Policy comes into effect next week, from Tuesday, 1 September.
From this date, all students are expected to be SunSmart and wear their red school hat when outside at play times and during HPE lessons.
If your child needs a new school hat, these are available for $13 from the School Office or Clothing Store.
Thank you for helping us keep our students safe in the sun!

We are excited to welcome our special visitors to our Father's Day Event on Wednesday 2nd September.
This is a special opportunity for Fathers, Grandfathers or significant adults in our students' lives to spend some quality time at school with their child/children.

Event Details:
Date: Wednesday 2 September
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am or 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Location: Various activities available around School.

Please note:
Special guests are responsible for supervising their child/children during the event, as teachers will be supervising students in their classes.

Students without a special visitor will remain with their classroom teacher and be supported in activities in the classroom.

All special guests must sign in via the QR codes at entry points around the school. Margaret Street will be open until 8:45 am, and then closed for the remainder of the day until 3:00 pm. York Street gate will be open for entry all day.

If a student is leaving early, they must be signed out at the office. All students are expected to remain at school until approximately 2:55 pm when the event concludes.

Any adults visiting our site must only use the staff toilets located at the office. No adults should use the students toilets under any circumstances.

National Science Week!

Our students have enjoyed celebrating National Science Week through hands-on investigations, creative challenges and exciting opportunities to explore the world around them.

It has been wonderful to see their curiosity, teamwork and problem-solving skills in action as they asked questions, tested ideas and made new discoveries.

A special thank you to our staff for creating such engaging learning experiences and inspiring our young scientists! 🌟

Congratulations, Xavier Davie!

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Old Scholar Xavier Davie on his recent participation at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, in the USA. Xavier finished in an impressive 15th position in the Decathlon - against some of the best young athletes in the world.

Xavier began his athletics journey at the South Launceston Little Athletics Centre, which has a long and valued connection with Sacred Heart and has always enjoyed strong participation from our students.
This outstanding achievement is the culmination of years of dedication and countless hours of training across the decathlon’s ten disciplines.
We also proudly acknowledge Xavier’s coach and fellow Old Scholar, Luke Sulzberger. Xavier and Luke have worked side by side for a number of years, united by the goal of achieving something special on the world stage.
Congratulations, Xavier and Luke! Our entire Sacred Heart community is proud of you. 🇦🇺
