First Band Soiree for the year. Such a great experience for all of our students, especially those who got to perform in front of a live audience for the first time. Thanks to the families for providing a safe space for our students to perform and thanks to the SPC music tutors for their passion and patience. Well done everyone.

Last week students in 5/6 engaged enthusiastically with Real Talk presenters Hannah and John as they were taken through the 4 Facts of Life: We are a Gift, We are Sacred, We are created in the Image and Likeness of God, and We all have a Purpose; listened and responded to personal stories around the impact of social media; friendships; and the value of our body language. In single s*x groups, students were given the opportunity to learn the facts about the emotional and physical changes they may encounter as they grow and change. These valuable sessions gave students time to chat and ask questions. Thanks to Wendy Rheinberger, Hannah and John and the 5/6 staff for supporting this day.

On Wednesday Aboriginal Cultural sharer Bianca Templar shared some traditional art with our Kinder and Prep students. Such a great experience for all of our little people. Thanks to Bianca for sharing her time with our community.

On Wednesday morning our school captains Bonnie and Louis attended the Reconciliation Breakfast at Tailrace. We had a great morning listening to guest speaks and music from the SPC Choir and DENNI.

"Who let the dogs out? Who, who, who?" Such a fun night at the disco last night. Thanks to the P and F and all the families who turned out on such a fun night.

Today during lunch time some of our Year 6 student leaders supervised a game of dodgeball with our Year 3/4 students. Each Monday our Year 6's will be running a variety of activities for various groups of students to enjoy during the lunch break.
