This tree brings me a lot of joy. I planted it a few summers ago with a vision for how I hoped it would make autumn here in Tassie beautiful and vibrant.
It didn’t disappoint!
Every day as the autumn landscape changes I glimpse it from different angles, watching it glow, dance and shift in different lights. Stunning. Grounding. Beautiful.
Vision is really important when it comes to creating a life we love. Even down to details as nuanced as the type of tree you want to enjoy during a certain season…
💭 something to ponder…. Where might your life benefit from a little vision, now matter how small or seemingly insignificant? 🍂 🍁

Applications are opening SOON!!! 🤩
For those who have been eagerly following along - I can't thank you enough for your patience as I've taken my time to design this service.
I needed my group coaching series for ADHDers to be the perfect mix of feeling seen and safe to unmask, being challenged and stretched, and of course something that facilitates the kind of growth that makes you feel proud of yourself.
This will be a small and powerful group experience with only 10 places available each series, so you'll need to get in quick when applications open!
The first round of applications will be released directly to the inboxes of my email subscribers. So, if that sounds like an email you want to get then you can sign up to my mailing list directly or send me a DM with your first name and email address and I'll do the life admin for you 😉.

I love reading to learn but on top of work, parenting and life it’s not always what I have mental bandwidth for.
I’m also not helping myself by having a shelf at home with at least 30 PD books lined up ready to read which adds the overwhelming factor of “which one do I read next?!”.
It’s always something I want to do more of - so I’ve been more intentional lately, and far more realistic with what I can read in certain timeframes.
This year I’ve been aiming to read one PD book a month, which is on top of my reading for leisure. Depending on the book this time frame can feel easy or a bit of a stretch.
I’ve also worked it into my routine so I know there’s always a little bit of time for it if I’ve got the brain power.
And - so far so good!
My reads so far this year have been:
- ‘It’s not a bloody trend’ by Kat Brown (Maybe you even read my review in my last post?)
- ‘Burnout to brilliant’ by Dr Marny Lishman
- ‘Core values therapy’ by David Nancarrow
- ‘Selfish’ by Turia Pitt

I’m curious… what was the move you thought of as you read this?
I wonder what’s holding you back and what could be on the other side of going for it?

If you're after a personal development book recommendation then I've got a stellar one for you!!
Yes it's about ADHD, but no it's not only helpful for those who are ADHDers - it's actually also a great read for those who want to better understand the lived ADHD experience.
Maybe you have have ADHD, maybe you love someone who does, or maybe you're a leader of a team sprinkled with neurodivergence - I don't know! But I know this book will open your mind.
Are you going to add it to your reading list, or have you already read it? Let me know in the comments or send me a DM!

If you were building a mental health first aid kit, I’d encourage you to add mindfulness and think of it as a soothing balm.
Amidst overwhelm and a busy brain full worries and endless thoughts - mindfulness is the balm that soothes your brain, helping it to settle down and relax.
Notice details in nature. Watch a bee dance around the flowers and collect its pollen.
Listen to the breeze ruffle the leaves of foliage near by, making them dance and sway in unison.
Step outside and feel the warmth of the sun on your face, or the bite of a cold wind on your cheeks.
Be here.
Be soothed.
How do you practice mindfulness? Or how might you start after slowing down to read this?
