Today marks the start of Pride Month!
A time to recognise and celebrate the many identities that make our communities stronger, richer and more vibrant. A time to continue building spaces where everyone feels seen, safe and supported.
We proudly stand alongside our LGBTIQA+ students, staff, families and communities, this month and every day π

Josh in year nine, from Danβs advisory, says its very relaxing. Ollie helps connect people everyone is happy.
Hayley, our TA says Ollie supports her and the students she works with by making them smile and brings her back to the present moment by enjoying the cuddles and what is happening in the school around her. GO OLLIE!

Today we farewelled Marianne, who will begin leave from Monday and will retire later in the year. Marianne is a passionate educator, who has been part of the Big Picture journey from its beginnings in Tasmania. Marianne was part of the team who started Launceston Big Picture. In her time at LBPS she has been an advisor, literacy coach, AST and an AP. We are grateful for her calm, considered contribution to our school, her passion for Big Picture Learning, and we know she will be missed by students, staff and the broader Big Picture community. Thank you Marianne, all the best for the journey ahead.
