Congratulations to our Drama 3 class!
Tonight they presented their powerful mid-year performance The Cassandra Syndrome, which wove together scenes from The Women of Troy, Titanic, and Don’t Look Up, with the figure of Cassandra connecting each story. Through this blend of texts, students explored the timeless warning of voices ignored, creating a compelling and thought-provoking performance that captivated the audience.
The response from the audience was incredible, well done to all involved on such a moving and memorable show! Thanks to everyone who came along tonight, and it is on again tomorrow in the Drama Room at 7.00pm. Entry by gold coin donation.
Special thanks to Stage Manager Zeke and to all our amazing tech theatre students for their outstanding work behind the scenes. And to Year 12 students Emily and Eli for their work on photographing the show.

Today, Launceston College had the pleasure of welcoming Kyle and Amanda from Mashed Theatre & Films. Students were treated to two engaging performances, Othello and Blocked.
Both shows were met with an enthusiastic and appreciative audience of our English and Drama students, who loved the opportunity to see live theatre bring texts and important themes to life in such a dynamic way.
A huge thank you to Mashed for inspiring our students and enriching their learning experience. We look forward to welcoming you back again!
