Wear it Purple Day theme this year is Colours of Courage.

Colours of Courage celebrates the many different forms of courage shown by LGBTQIA+SB young people, allies and communities everyday.

Celebrate this day with LC in the Undercroft this Friday lunchtime with free cupcakes and wristbands.

🏀 Launceston College Shines at the Tasmanian College Schools Basketball Championships! 🏀

Launceston College was proud to have a record number of students representing the college at this year's Tasmanian College Schools Basketball Championships.

We fielded:
✅ 1 Division 1 Boys Team
✅ 2 Division 2 Boys Teams
✅ 1 Division 1 Girls Team

Across the tournament, all of our teams represented the college with outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, determination, and pride. It was fantastic to see so many students competing at a high level while supporting one another both on and off the court.

A special congratulations goes to our Division 1 Boys Team, who battled their way through to the Grand Final.

Although they fell just short in a hard-fought contest, their efforts throughout the tournament were outstanding and something they should be incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you and special mention to Adrian Scott, who was the "super coach" of the weekend, as well as staff members Tracee, Andrea, and Padge, who generously gave up their time to coach, mentor, and support our students throughout the competition.

We would also like to give a massive shout-out to the parents and family members who helped coach, score, bench, and support teams across an incredible 17 games over the weekend. Your support played a vital role in making this event such a success.

Well done to all players, coaches, staff, and families involved. You represented Launceston College with pride and made the college community proud! 💙💛🏀

Student Wellbeing and Engagement Survey - Coming Soon!

The time of year has arrived when we check in with our students through the annual wellbeing survey.

At Launceston College student wellbeing is a top priority, and we value hearing directly from our students about their experiences and perspectives.

Students in Years 11/12 will be participating in the survey during week 7 and 8.

Congratulations to our Pathways to Work students, Cooper, Ahlia and Zoe for achieving their RSA certificate this week.

Zoe and Ahlia have achieved several certificates this year in Pathways to Work and are on track for an impressive portfolio at the end of the year.
