Congratulations to Louis and Chloe, who will soon travel to Ballarat to represent Tasmania in the Australian Cross Country Championships. We wish them all the very best for the event and look forward to hearing about their experience next week.

What a fantastic Science Expo our STEM Leaders have run today for our Prep to Grade 3 students. They’ve learnt about static electricity, liquids that turn solid, what makes something magnetic, how objects float and numerous technology activities.
Such a great day for all.

Our grade 6 STEM Leaders are hard at work setting up for our Prep - 3 Science Expo today.
Despite the mess, we’re confident it’ll be a spectacular experience for our students!

Yesterday our grade 5/6 students were lucky enough to have Mrs Gibbons, Mr Ritchie and some fantastic Queechy High School students visit us to run a Science Expo for Science Week.
They learnt about chemical reactions, scientific sketching and labelling, different issues in science and how to make a mini catapult!
It was a fascinating day and we thank Queechy for the opportunity.

Grade 3 students were lucky enough to visit Tasmania Zoo last week to support their inquiry into living and non living things and life cycles.

They had a wonderful time exploring the zoo, seeing feeding of the animals and getting to ask the zoo keepers lots of questions!
