Calling Tassie Art Teachers!
Tassie has incredible art educators all over our beautiful state and we want to celebrate your craft and share YOU with the world!
Our Biannual Tasmanian Art Teachers Exhibition starts its state loop in Launnie late November/early December at QVMAG, heads to Hobart early 2027, and wraps up at ArtScape Wynyard in 2027.
2D or 3D - whatever works! If you exhibit often or if it's the first time in a while, this is your chance to put yourself out there in a supportive space alongside other teachers (plus there will be wine + cheese at the openings).
Click the link in our bio and register asap, entries close 31st September.

20 years ago, a local hairdresser had an idea to create a space where artists could work together, exhibit, and share their love of art.
This month, we celebrate Michelle's vision, and ArtsCapes place in Wynyard over the past 2 decades.
ArtsCape has undergone many changes through the years; location, committee, members, logos and paint colours, but at the heart of it, its purpose still remains the same. Supporting artists in the North West, and giving them the space to shine.
Join us on Friday May 22nd for 'Home is Where the Art is' an celebration of 20 years of ArtsCape Wynyard.
If you would like to exhibit in this show, head over the artscapewynyard.com to enter!🎨

Another fantastic PL with the support of Riverside High School, The Tasmanian Principals Association and in Partnership with Zart, our Vice-President ran a Professional Learning Session in our Art Room for Art Teachers across the North. First up Caz shared her classroom practice and expertise with a range of resources and teaching strategies. Followed by Zart who then hosted a live virtual drawing session with artist Nic Plowman. It was a fantastic professional learning session that allowed Art Teachers to come together to collaborate and reflect on their own art teaching practice.
