A huge congratulations to Luka (pictured) and Ryan, who have both reached an amazing milestone of 10 books borrowed from our Tiny Tales Library - that’s 10 weeks of reading! 🌟

Luka and Ryan were super excited to receive their special prize, and we love seeing our little readers enjoying books and building a lifelong love of reading.

Reading together at home is one of the best ways to support children’s language, imagination and learning. Even just a few minutes each day can make a big difference!

Remember, the Tiny Tales Library is available to all muylatina families, giving everyone the opportunity to borrow books and enjoy the magic of stories together.

On Monday 15 June at around 11:00am, there will be an AusAlert (emergency alert) test in our area.

📱 You may receive a notification on your phone, tablet, or smart watch.

This alert will:
• Vibrate
• Play a loud siren-like sound for about 10 seconds
• Display a message confirming it is a test

✅ You do not need to do anything.

For community members using a safe phone:
• Please ensure you are in a safe place when the alert sounds, or
• Turn your device off or use aeroplane mode if this alert could place you at risk

Today we celebrate something we are truly passionate about at muylatina - play 💛
Play isn’t just fun (although there is plenty of that!). It is how children learn about the world, build relationships, express themselves, and develop the skills they need for life. Through play, children grow in confidence, creativity, resilience and connection.

At muylatina, play sits at the heart of everything we do. Every day we see the joy, curiosity and learning that comes from children exploring, imagining, creating and simply being children.

Play brings families together, strengthens relationships, and helps children feel safe, valued and connected.

Today is a reminder for all of us to pause, get down on the floor, head outside, and choose play - not just today, but every day.

To help us create a safe, calm and connected space for everyone, we kindly ask families to:

👥 No phones out during group sessions
👀 Stay present and engaged with your child/ren

Remember, Friday 5th June is a student free day, and Monday 8th June is a public holiday, so we will see you on Tuesday 9th June!

We look forward to welcoming all our 0-12 month babies and their families into Wiggles and Giggles tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:30.

And as a bonus Shona, lactation consultant from Walker House will be joining us to answer all your breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and weaning questions!

We hope to see you there for some play, connection, songs and fun!
