We would like to say a big thank you to Aunty Sharda and Aunty Rita for teaching us to make Dahl. The Dahl was absolutely incredible and what a privilege it was to be a part of the process. The conversations shared, the connections made, and the strong sense of community throughout the experience was truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone who helped make it special.
We really appreciate when the families at muylatina come together to help and support each other and share stories about their family and culture. We are looking forward to sharing more of our families favourite recipes and hearing about what is important to them at Cook and Chat on a Friday. Together, we’re creating opportunities to connect, learn from one another, and celebrate the rich diversity of our community.

🧙🦸‍♀️👸Book Week Parade (Tuesday 10:30am) - dress up as your favourite book character and join us for a parade. We will be walking a block around Mayfield (Hargrave Cres - Torrens St - Mitchell St -Hargrave Cres)

📚📖Launceston Library Excursion (Friday) - departing muylatina at 9:30am. There a very limited places available, if you wish to join us and are yet to RSVP, please do say as soon as possible.

✨Meet Sammie-Jo✨

We are delighted to officially introduce Sammie-Jo, our new Aboriginal Early Years Education Worker.

Sammie-Jo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, having worked across a range of Child and Family Learning Centre environments to support improved outcomes for children and families. Her passion, expertise, and commitment to community are already making a positive impact, and we are thrilled to have her as part of our team.

You will find Sammie-Jo at muylatina every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
