St Michaels Training - RTO 60067 St Michaels Training is a Tasmanian Endorsed Registered Training Organisation (RTO). RTO Code 60067

We have been offering accredited training for Tasmanians with a disability and the disability sector since 2003. St Michaels Training is the only Tasmanian Training Provider working exclusively in the Disability Sector. We are a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering highly contextualised and supportive training for people with a disability and for those working in the disability sector. Our History
Our RTO started in 2003 when St Michaels Association, in consultation with Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE’s) identified the need for training in the areas of Horticulture and Warehousing operations. Over the years as relationships developed and more programs were added, the RTO became the preferred provider for the 10 of the 14 ADE’s in Tasmania. Through our dynamic relationships and partnerships, in 2017 we commenced the delivery of First Aid and Medication Administration to the disability, aged care and health sectors in Tasmania. After successfully gaining re-registration for a further 7 years in 2018, we commenced the expansion of our scope of registration. In 2019 we rebranded as St Michaels Training, commenced the delivery of the Certificate III in Individual Support and we were named as a finalist in the Training Provider of the year at the 2019 Tasmanian Training Awards. Present
In 2020, we are now offering even more flexible training options; including skill sets and pathways to full qualifications and have grown to over 2500 learners across the state. We work closely with organisations assisting with workforce development plans and conducting training needs analysis. We assist our employer partners in finding funding options to help with training costs so that their workforce development needs can be met.
