Class Mass - Yr 4.

Today students learnt about the sacrament of reconciliation and the sacrament of baptism. Father Damien explained that at the sacrament of baptism we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit and at the sacrament of reconciliation God forgives the things we’ve done wrong, through the priest.

Catholic Education Week - yesterday our year 6 students attended Mass with their peers from other Catholic schools in the North. The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Tony.
The students then had a BBQ lunch and spent time in the playground with the students from the other Catholic schools.
Our students represented Larmenier beautifully.

A lovely calm start to the day for the first day of our before-school Zen Den.

What is a Zen Den? A Zen Den is a designated calm, quiet space where children can go to self-regulate their emotions, take a break from overstimulation, and get themselves emotionally ready to start the school day.

Our Zen Den will be open 8.30 am – 8.50 am each day and will operate from our PCWB room. It will be a quiet space with mindfulness colouring available and other sensory tools.
