📚✨ BOOK WEEK FUN FOR OUR PRE-KINDER KIDS! ✨📚

Our Pre-Kindergarten children are invited to join in the Book Week fun and dress up as their favourite book character this Thursday, 2nd September! 🧚🦸🐛👑📖

Come along dressed as someone (or something!) from a favourite story — we can’t wait to see all the wonderful costumes! 🌟

💛 Your Pre-Kinder session will still take place at the same location and at the same time as normal.

📚✨ What a magical morning celebrating Book Week! ✨📚

Our school was bursting with creativity, colour and imagination as our students brought their favourite book characters to life! 🎭📖

We were treated to some amazing craftsmanship, creativity and attention to detail, with costumes inspired by much-loved characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie from Toy Story, characters from The Cat in the Hat, Harry Potter, Where’s Wally, Alice in Wonderland, superheroes, princesses and so many more! 🌈🧙‍♂️🐑🚀

The excitement was contagious as our students proudly paraded their costumes, showing off the incredible effort and imagination that went into bringing their favourite stories to life. It was wonderful to see books and characters come alive right before our eyes! ❤️📚

The students absolutely loved the parade, and it was such a joy to see their smiles, confidence and enthusiasm as they shared their costumes with everyone.

A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for helping make this special morning possible. We hope you enjoyed the parade as much as we did and had just as much fun seeing the wonderful characters come to life! 💕

📚✨ LPSA BOOK FAIR – TOMORROW! ✨📚

Get ready to grab a bargain! 🎉 Our LPSA are running a Book Fair Wednesday 2nd September and there’ll be books, games, puzzles, treats and more!

📍 Sports Centre
⏰ 8:30am – 2:40pm

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents & carers are welcome to pop in and shop at any time throughout the day!

📖 Prep – Grade 6 students can visit and purchase items during recess and lunch, and classes will also visit throughout the day with their teachers.

📚 Books - 50c–$1
🧩 Games & puzzles - $2–$5
🍭 Sour straps & marshmallows - 2 for 50c

Students from Kinder to Grade 6 are invited to dress up as their favourite book character and join in the fun.

🎭 Kinder & Prep: 9:15am
📚 Grade 1 & 2: 9:45am
🌟 Grade 3–6: 10:30am

Congratulations to the 107 athletes who have been selected to represent Tasmania at the 2026 Australian Athletics Cross Country Championships later this month.

With one of our largest teams in recent years, we're excited to see so many athletes proudly wearing the Tasmanian colours on the national stage.

We wish you well in your preparations and look forward to seeing you compete in Ballarat 🏃
