We’re proud to share this wonderful post from the Devonport RSL, recognising Cooper and the fantastic work he has been doing. It’s great to see one of our students making such a positive impression in the workplace!
Cooper is one of 9 Latrobe High School students currently undertaking an Australian School-based Apprenticeship across a variety of industries including hospitality, construction trades, agriculture, automotive, civil construction and IT. Cooper's story is just one example of the many successes our students are achieving as they develop valuable skills, confidence and experience beyond the classroom.
Congratulations, Cooper, we’re very proud of you!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of Teacher Assistant Appreciation Week! To kick things off, we asked some of our students to tell us about their favourite TAs and what makes them so special.

Our TAs do an incredible job supporting, encouraging and caring for students across our school every day. This week, make sure you take a moment to say something kind, offer a genuine thank you and show our wonderful TAs just how much they are appreciated!

Thank you and well done to our Student Leaders; Amelia, Celia, Mitskie, Kelsea, and Media student Sophie, for creating this video.

Book Week Community Book Stall!

Thank you to the Latrobe community for supporting our free book stall today. It was wonderful to meet everyone who stopped by and shared their love of reading with us, whether it was memories of favourite books, beloved authors, or even a chat about Dolly Parton and the profound impact she has had on reading globally!

We welcomed readers of all ages and loved celebrating the joy of reading within our community.

Tomorrow, we'll be holding another free book stall at lunchtime for students. They are welcome to take books for themselves or to share with someone important in their lives. We look forward to helping even more books find new homes!

NWPSSA 5/6 Sport Day Volunteers ⚽️🏉🏑🏀🏐
Twenty LHS students volunteered their time to umpire at the NWPSSA 5/6 Sport Day, held across a number of sporting venues around Devonport.
The students demonstrated outstanding commitment, umpiring games continuously throughout the day and helping ensure the event ran smoothly.
