2026 is looking bright at Largs North Kindergarten!

We begin our 70th year in one sleep!

We also renovated the bathrooms in the holidays. They look incredible. We can’t wait for you to see them.

Largs North Kindergarten Art Exhibition 2025

Wow! What an incredible evening celebrating the beautifully curated art pieces of our children.

The weather never dampened the spirits and it was amazing to see everyone connecting and enjoying the event.

Thank you to the amazing educators, Governing Council and families who supported the creation, set up and pack up. Many hands certainly make light work.

A huge thanks to Greer for opening our ceremony and working with our children.

So, on Thursday I received an email to say we had won the Governors Choice award for our scarecrow 😮😀

We totally did, I had to witness it with my own eyes to believe it.

Our Beach Kindy Scarecrow will be having a short stay at Government House before returning to kindy (hopefully in one piece 😬). This is super exciting as only one gets chosen each year.

The Largs North Kindergarten have been busy designing and creating a Recycled Scarecrow for the Royal Adelaide Show.

Our theme was Beach Kindy. We collected items washed upon the shore and recycled resources from home to create our master piece.

If you are heading to the show the scarecrow is displayed in the Horticulture Area, found in the Goyder Pavilion.
