Hello again!

In today’s post, I would like to draw your attention to the ‘classic’ dichotomy: Native vs Non-native teachers. Whether we are talking about the English language or other languages, it is a sensitive topic that accrued much debate and tons of articles.

If you ask me, I look at it as a false problem. I don’t really mind taking lessons from a non-native speaker, as long as the classes are meaningful and the desired outcomes are reached. In fact, I have learned Italian and French with non-native teachers, and that didn’t stop me from speaking and writing like a pro.

Whenever you are trying to learn something, no matter what it is, don’t forget that everything starts and ends with YOU!

Book me in for a free…debate!

See you soon!

Hi everyone! And now for something completely different...
It's the grape season here in Australia, so I decided to make some wine. A little break from English language teaching and the like...
Last Saturday, I bought the grapes (Shiraz), and I started working on them. In due process, I had an unexpected Quality Assurance Controller or a future student of wine-making. Guess who?
Enjoy the post! See you next week with a new one!

Hey guys! It’s been over two weeks since I came back from holidays, and I am still jetlagged.
All good. I’ve had quite exciting and challenging classes since.
One of them was about Task 1 IELTS Academic writing practice, and it was really fruitful.
In this post, I am challenging you to be a teacher for one time and analyse one authentic answer.
I know that your time is limited, everyone has to work, and reading these things is not fun.
However, put yourself in my shoes for this only time and see what you can come up with.
I will organise a Zoom meeting next week (22nd of March) to discuss the essay in this post.
I look forward to meeting you next week! Good luck finding errors 😊…

Hi there all! It's been a while since I haven't been posting...I have been on a long holiday in Europe and just returned a couple of days ago. However, I have been actively teaching all this time and I am fully ready for more work. I have also attended some interesting English teaching seminars and I look forward to sharing some new ideas with you soon!
Meanwhile, feel free to book me for a free session!

Many thanks,

Hey there all! It is a hectic end of the year, and I am busy with many things.
Anyway, I recently debated the differences between the two (in)famous English tests with some students.
For that reason, I am proposing a quick overview of both in today’s post.
Please note that this is only a chunk. I also tried to adapt it for the festive season (yet I'm not a good designer).
Should you wish to find out more and talk about it, book me for a complimentary session!
See you soon!

Hi everyone! I have created the following post to raise awareness about common mistakes in the IELTS speaking test. Initially, I wanted to make a video on this topic. Unfortunately, however, I couldn’t find a role-play partner for this.
I promise, though, that the day of a funny video recording is not far.
Until then, I am waiting for you to my free session to show you the real deal!
See you soon!
NB: I did not include full answers, except for the cue card. I hope you'll understand why.

Hey there! Here comes the second part of the writing tips and strategies focusing on Task2.
There are many other things we can cover on this matter. However, given the limited space and time, I was only able to include but a few.
Book me in for a free session, and you’ll find out more!

Hello guys! Things are getting busier, and my time on social media is also affected. Anyway, we are continuing today to drill on Task 2 IELTS writing, following some requests that I had recently.
This post is the first in the series. I will attempt to bring more exciting strategies in the following days. Meanwhile, challenge yourselves and send me some sample writing on the tasks from the slide. Then contact me for a free feedback session. That is my favourite, and that’s why I’m here!
See you soon!
