What an incredible two full days of Cecchetti examinations at JOKSOD! 🩰
We are SO proud of every single dancer who walked into the studio, ready to perform, demonstrate their knowledge and give their very best. Exams are such a wonderful opportunity for our dancers to challenge themselves, build confidence and celebrate their progress 🩵

It’s Cecchetti Exam Day! 🩰
Our incredible students have been preparing for their exams for more than a year and now their hard work is being realised 🩵
Cecchetti Exams are an important part of dancer development, supporting progression, discipline and learning with demonstration of the Cecchetti principles of grace, balance and line. The syllabus teaches coordination, poise, confidence, rhythmical sense and musicality while ensuring that the process is still fun.
We are so proud of all our dancers and sending the biggest chookas for today and tomorrow. 🩵

✨ CONTEMPORARY AT JOKSOD ✨
Contemporary is more than movement. It’s musicality, expression, strength, control, individuality and the ability to move with intention.
At JOKSOD, our contemporary program is carefully designed to build skills and confidence as dancers move through the levels.
We introduce contemporary at Junior level, giving the opportunity to develop the foundations of dance technique first. Dancers are then better prepared to progress into more complex movement, floor work, weight shifts, dynamics and choreography safely.
We nurture dancers who not only perform contemporary, but understand how to use their technique, musicality and individuality to truly connect with the movement.

We're absolutely loving Bring a Friend Week at JOKSOD! 🩵
It's been wonderful welcoming new faces into our studios and watching our dancers proudly introduce the place they call their second home.
For many of our students, dance is much more than the classes, it's where they develop life skills, build lifelong friendships, and create memories. Seeing them share that experience with the special people in their lives has been incredibly heartwarming.
A huge welcome to all of our visitors this week. We hope you've had as much fun as we have, and we can’t wait to see more on Saturday! 🥰
