I attend a LOT of amateur musical theatre performances.
(I would average at least 10 a year, as well as attending many of the professional theatre performances that frequent our city.)

And I have to say, your schools performance on the weekend of "we will rock you" - must be commended for its outstanding quality across every single aspect of the performance.

It was second to none - THE BEST show I have seen in recent memory.

I had goosebumps on several occasions!

CONGRATULATIONS!

The show was SPECTACULAR!

The children were PHENOMENALLY talented - the choreography / set design / costuming was INCREDIBLE!

The ability for those kids to execute the choreography with such precision was second-to none

The standard was VERY PROFESSIONAL!

The band was AMAZING!

(You don't often see a guitarist live on stage!)

The sound and lighting were absolutely PERFECT! Complimentary to each scene!

I genuinely dont have enough words to articulate how very proud you should be of every single person involved from front to back of this show

The quality of the performance, was so professional accross every level of the production, that it's almost unbelievable that it was a high school musical!

After seeing it, my son and I agreed - we wished we could have gone back and seen it again!

Congratulations to all involved - they are a credit to themselves, their families, their colleagues, and the reputation of your school community.

WE WILL ROCK YOU 2026 🤘🏻

What an incredible journey! We could not be prouder of our cast, crew and band for everything they achieved in We Will Rock You. Over the past six months, they have dedicated countless hours to bringing this production to life, and they absolutely blew the roof off the theatre. Their professionalism, resilience and determination have been outstanding, and every one of them has grown as a performer along the way.

A big thank you to our incredible production team, EMC staff, alumni and parent volunteers. A production of this scale is only possible because of the many people working behind the scenes, and we are so grateful for every contribution.

This also marks the farewell of another incredible group of Year 12 students. Many of these students have been part of our productions since Year 7. Watching them grow has been one of the greatest privileges. They joined us calling themselves “just a dancer”, “just a singer” or “just an actor”, and now leave as true triple threats who have embraced every challenge. Even better than that, they have set an incredible example for our younger students, and we can’t wait to see where their talents take them next.

Finally, thank you to the entire EMC community for continuing to support the performing arts. It is a place where students can discover who they are, build confidence, find belonging and bring stories to life. We are incredibly fortunate to be part of a community that values and champions these opportunities.
