Bayside Christian College is a coeducational Kindergarten to Year 12 Christian school located at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula. Bayside helps parents equip their children for effective, God-glorifying lives as Christians in the world by:

- Leading students into the service of God and of others as a thankful response to the work of God in Christ,

- Nurturing in students the development

of a Biblical understanding of the world and of life,

- Establishing an educational environment that is characterised by faith, hope, love, joy, peace and service,

Our Year 3/4 students had a beautiful time exploring God's goodness and the unique way He has made each of us! 🌟

They reflected on biblical truths about identity and wrote personal "I Am" statements, reminding themselves that they are wonderfully made, deeply loved, chosen, and created with purpose.

It was a wonderful lesson on knowing our identity in Christ, celebrating our uniqueness, and learning to celebrate the gifts and strengths of others.

A highlight was a live robot demonstration from Robot for Hire, a glimpse into how technology is shaping business! A fantastic chance to connect classroom learning with real world practice.

In the second-last week of Term 2, we were lucky enough to welcome around 30 students from Penabur Christian School into our Year 7 & 8 Indonesian classes!

Students from both schools swapped stories about school life and culture, spotting the similarities and differences along the way. Our visitors also shared beautiful traditional Indonesian dances, Tor Tor from Sumatra, plus Maumere and Sajojo from Papua

There were traditional games and cultural activities too, with our students diving in with so much enthusiasm. A wonderful day of connection and cultural exchange! 🙌

🐾 Our Year 1/2 students are buzzing with excitement as they kick off their Integrated Studies topic, "All Creatures Great and Small"! We launched our learning with a fantastic RSPCA incursion, where students discovered what it means to be kind, caring, and responsible pet owners, and reflected on our role as faithful stewards of God's creation.

As Amelia (1/2TC) shared: "We learned how to take care of animals by giving them food, water, shelter, exercise and vet care."

And Zacchaeus (1/2TC) added: "We all need to care for animals and people should never be mean to any animals."

As Genesis 1:31 reminds us, "God saw all that He had made, and it was very good." We can't wait to keep exploring and celebrating the wonderful creatures God has made!

Our Prep students celebrated a huge milestone, with brilliant costumes, counting to 100, and lots of fun activities to mark the occasion!

We loved welcoming our Prep families in to see the celebrations firsthand. Students proudly shared their learning, performed a special song, and received a certificate to mark this wonderful achievement.

We are so proud of our Prep superstars! 🏆

🥇🏂 Huge congratulations to Hugo (5/6CJ) for winning GOLD in his GS snowboard race! From early mornings to long training sessions, Hugo's hard work and determination paid off in the best way.

In his own words: "Winning first place wasn't just about being the fastest, it was proof that determination and practice can make dreams come true." We are so proud of you, Hugo!
