The G.K.M.I. was established in Sydney, Australia by Kenshu Hideo Watanabe in1980. It has been 45 years since then. There are our branch dojos in Perth & Hobart in Australia, and Chennai, Erode in India & Lumbini, Nepal.

This video was taken in Aug.,2012 when I was 66yo. I was speaking about Karate history (from India to China to Okinawa, Japan). Since then, I have observed that Karate became more & more popular all over India in the last 12 years. Thanks to the TV interview at that time. I have a plan to visit India again around November 2024 for the 11th time.
