Students from Year 6 visited the Sistine Chapel Exhibition (Tues 26/5), exploring Michelangelo’s masterpieces and the beauty of the Renaissance. It was an inspiring experience of faith, creativity and history.

Student reflections:
“When I entered the Sistine Chapel, I felt amazed and was deep in thought. The way it’s structured looks like an incredible illusion.” – Ardya (6Y)

“When I looked up at the ceiling, I felt amazed at how Michelangelo painted the walls and ceiling.” – Isabel (6Y)

“I felt like I was in a deep relaxation because of all the calming music and detailed paintings. It made me feel as though my connection with God had grown fonder.” – Emmeline (6B)

“The artworks have a deep connection to God, and they helped me reflect on him through the hard work that Michelangelo put into them.” – A***n (6B)

Today our students had the special opportunity to attend the Mary Help of Christians Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral. 🇦🇺🙏

Gathered in prayer and faith, we celebrated the patroness of Australia and were reminded to place our trust in Mary’s guidance, love, and protection. A beautiful day of reverence, community, and spiritual reflection for all who attended. ✨
