Support Unit - Community Access

Our SU classes, 4-5FD and 3-6AE, enjoyed a fantastic visit to Woolworths Lakemba to purchase ingredients for our fruit salad with ice cream !

As part of their learning in class, year 1 students enjoyed an incursion at our school canteen. Our lovely canteen lady Hayat explained what food is available and showed the children how to kindly and politely ask for their food.
The children were very excited to have a tour of the canteen. To finish their visit, they enjoyed buying some delicious ice blocks. It was a fun and valuable learning experience for everyone. CL team

Year 1 LLA students are learning to write letters to people such as family members, friends or teachers. They describe events they enjoy by using verbs and pronouns in their sentences.

This term CL Indonesian students have been busy learning about traditional markets, restaurants and fruits & vegetables as well as making bilingual menus and scripts.

This week some classes have also been preparing for Independence day celebrations next week!

Writing in KPB

KPB loved visiting the garden this week. We used our senses to experience the beautiful garden by touching, rubbing, crushing and smelling leaves, and looking at the plants and insects we found. Have a look at the amazing writing we did when we got back to class!

🏆⚽️ SENIOR BOYS SOCCER CHAMPIONS ⚽️🏆

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Soccer Team who won their Grand Final on Friday and became back-to-back, undefeated Champions!

Unfortunately, the Junior Boys Soccer Team suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat in a close contest after finishing 1st on the table.

The boys have represented their school with pride throughout the entire season and should be very proud of their efforts!
