Thank you to Wiley Park Girls High School for hosting a group of our year 6 students today. It was great to see what they’ve already achieved halfway through the year in Music and Art! Our girls were blown away by the talents shown during the CAPA Showcase. We can’t wait to visit again at the end of the year!

Stage 2 Urdu A students are excitedly writing sentences about places in their neighbourhood, while Stage 3 students are showcasing their creativity by constructing zoo dioramas using cardboard, with one student choosing Lego to bring their zoo animals to life. Our Kindergarten students are also working hard, learning how to greet others in their home language at different times of the day. It has been wonderful to see students building confidence in their language skills while connecting with their culture and experiences. Mrs Ijaz

Refugee Week Weaving Workshop

The Refugee Team conducted a weaving workshop where we passed on weaving techniques that we learnt from artist Tasman during our Refugee Week Morning Tea.

Students learnt that weaving is not only a form of artistic expression but also an important cultural practice used to create practical items.

Woven artworks will be on display at HPPS this week!
