🖤💛❤️ Yana Gulgul Cultural Celebration 🖤💛❤️
On Thursday last week, a group of our Stage 3 students had the opportunity to attend the Yana Gulgul Cultural Celebration.
The day was a wonderful celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, with students participating in a range of engaging cultural activities before coming together for a whole-group dance performance.
It was fantastic to see our students embracing the experience, building connections and making new friends with students from other schools. We were incredibly proud of the way they represented Lake Munmorah Public School throughout the day.
A big thank you to our parents and carers for supporting this opportunity and assisting with transporting students to and from the event. Your support helped make this special experience possible for our students.
What a great day of culture, connection and community! 🖤💛❤️

Stage 3 AusBike Program

Last week, our Stage 3 students had the opportunity to take part in the AusBike Learn to Ride Program.

Across the sessions, students developed their bike-riding skills, confidence and awareness of how to ride safely. They practised important skills such as balance, braking, control, turning and responding safely to different riding situations.

It was fantastic to see students challenging themselves, encouraging one another and showing persistence as they worked to improve their skills.

A big thank you to the AusBike instructors for providing such an engaging and valuable experience for our students!
