Last Thursday we held our very first Resilience Run. What a wonderful day it was - the weather blessed us and it was cool and sunny, allowing our students to make the most of the circuit.

It was so fantastic to see all the students' smiling faces and how much they pushed themselves to complete as many laps as possible. We saw students supporting and encouraging each other right through the day, keeping a positive vibe and having fun whilst also demonstrating their resilience.

Many thanks go out to our wonderful team of parent helpers who gave us so much of their time and energy - the day could not have been a success without them. Also thanks to our wonderful Year 6 leaders for all their support through the day and the pack up.

A huge congratulations to our amazing student body and the fabulous way to tackled this event, we are all very proud of them.

R U OK? 💛 Today is R U OK Day, our national day of action when we are reminded to check in on our family and friends, to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation that could change their life.

This year's theme is 'Ask R U OK? Any Day', and there are some great resources for our primary school aged children to introduce them to R U OK Day, and the four steps of an R U OK? conversation to support a friend.

Head to the link below for a range of age-appropriate videos, colouring pages and fun activities that may just spark them to identify when a friend is feeling down, and give them the tools to help them, or to tell an adult 🫶

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at St Brendan’s! 💛

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us for the beautiful and heartwarming Father’s Day liturgy. It was such a special time of prayer, gratitude and love as we honoured the dads, grandads, stepdads and special men who mean so much to our students.

Thank you to every father and father-figure who joined us, and to our wonderful students and staff who made the morning so meaningful. The smiles, the hugs and the shared moments were pure joy.

Wishing all the amazing dads in our community a wonderful Father’s Day filled with love and happiness.

Year 1 had an amazing time at the Awabakal Environmental Centre at Dudley. From making animal shelters, to catching bugs and pond insects! They learnt all about the different uses of a variety of plants and used a leaf to sand down twigs until they were smooth. What a fantastic day! 🌿👏

📚 What a wonderful way to celebrate Book Week! 📚

Our annual Book Parade was filled with creativity, imagination and plenty of favourite book characters. It was fantastic to see our students bring their favourite stories to life and share their love of reading.

Thank you to our families for the incredible costumes and to everyone who helped make the day so special. Happy Book Week! 📖

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome more than 400 grandparents and special visitors to our school community for a truly memorable Grandparents Day. 🌼

The day began with a beautiful Mass, bringing generations together in prayer, followed by a delicious morning tea and the opportunity for grandparents to visit classrooms, where students proudly shared their learning and school life.

Thank you to every grandparent and special guest who joined us. Your love, wisdom and encouragement make a lasting difference in the lives of our students, and it was a privilege to celebrate this special day with you.
