Ehup, As I'm sure you all know I've now retired. I was planning on another year, but my body has said no. I put this off a bit, because I wasn't sure what I was doing with the business. I just want to thank the Lockyer Valley in general. I've always thought that I just seem to get the best students, because all my students have been brilliant. I've really enjoyed driver and rider training, not only to ride and drive a car, but the art of both. Loved seeing it when things click in their heads; confident steering and scanning and posture lift and an " I've got this" feeling starts to kick in. Also, for all of my students; I know you all enjoyed the defensive driver training we did on bikes and in cars. Every one of you loved it, as we did it how it should be done and in that order. I hope one of my students become a driver trainer and keep that going, as that will be lost from hereon. It's not required by law, so people won't be taught it anymore. So, yeah people, I've learnt alot and grown alot from it also, so thankyou. As words of wisdom go, for the bike riders, remember practice that countersteering i taught you (as it can save your life) and for all, keep your eyes up and scan to give yourself time to make the right decisions. Good drivers give themselves more time to make the right decision. For me now, I'm still getting out on any of my road bikes playing in and around in the Lockyer Valley on the dirt or bitumen roads. I travel up no through roads also. All of them. We are lucky as there are some beautiful roads, scenery to enjoy out here. So, it's me travelling up those roads where people don't normally go. I do most of my new exploration on my africa twin because that thing can get me out of anywhere if I get too adventurous. Anyway, thankyou good people of the Lockyer. Stay safe and keep your eyes up.

So Ronnie is hanging up the tools. He has worked his whole life, started as a milkman at 15, very next day after high school at 230am! Such an asset to any employment he gained. Driver training became an option he could no longer ignore. Ronnie has been teaching people how to ride motorcycles long before any qualifications, he is a natural as the motorcycle gene is present in his ancestral lineage.....n the grandchildren are amazing riders too!
Just wanted to say how much Ron deserves this free time in his life. He has spent a great deal of his life looking after others and family, always putting himself last.
Ron, my wonderful husband. You are a man of complete honesty and integrity. You will be sadly missed by all of your students. I know the Lockyer Valley will miss you immensely. Your record is impeccable. The amount of stunning reviews (loads of these were private messages that Ron would say spread that trumour please haha) that the page doesnt see are a testament to the caring loyal man that you are.
I want to thank the Lockyer Valley for the last 19 years for supporting Regency Driver Training. You will see Ron around, on 2 wheels mainly- his absolute passion-but you better be up early!
Love you Ron Anderson. I am so proud of you. Enjoy your well deserved retirement, my husband. You are now as free as ever!
