From the magical Land of Oz to the underwater world of Bikini Bottom—and all the wonderfully unimaginable worlds in between—St Mary's proudly presents Book Week 2026!

Our students and staff embraced this year's Book Week theme, Symphony of Stories, with incredible costumes and plenty of creativity!

Alongside the dress-up fun, students also enjoyed the theatrical antics in the library-converted theatre with lunch break themed-activities.

It was truly a wonderful celebration of imagination, storytelling, and a love of reading!

🌟 Maths in Prep Gold 🌟

This week in Maths, Prep Gold has been busy practising our counting skills! We used 10s frames and rolled the big foam dice to create numbers, then carefully counted collections to match.
As mathematicians, we have also been learning to compare amounts using important maths language such as more, less and equal. Students worked hard to explain their thinking and identify which collections had more items, fewer items, or the same number.
It has been wonderful to see our learners developing confidence with numbers while having lots of fun through hands-on activities!
