My thoughts:
I grew up playing outside, tablets were not even a reality then. So my “normal” therefore is an offline presence and an online presence that reflects that.
What I see happening is a generation of young people with a “normal” that is always online and not so much offline. They live and beat the connectedness and we haven’t always given them enough guidance because it’s not our frontier, it’s more theirs. So the rules of engagement were not really explicit.
I Love this video because it connects the worlds, their normal, our offline normal, and builds a bridge. I like building bridges. If I could do anything it is to build bridges and share the love in all its various forms.
Please share your thoughts?! X

We discussed the current proposed changes to law in QLD to make abortion non criminalised and the challenges that women in regional Australia have accessing support and healthcare. I am attending the fundraiser next Friday and encourage those that are Brisbane based to come along too.

Adaptability is definitely on the radar, but what else, and then, how and where and when can I ensure they get those skills taught.
This video leads me to think that grit is on the list of to-be-taught...
What skills do you add to the school curriculum for yourself or your kids?
