On behalf of all of the staff at Labertouche, we wish everyone a fun, safe and happy holiday! We had a fabulous last day of term, Socceroos, Spotlight Student celebrations and our new flag ceremony with Wayne Farnham MP. It was a wonderful way to finish our term! See you all again on the first day back, Tuesday the 14th

Winter Solstice @ Labertouche Primary School!

Magic was in the air at Labertouche Primary last night! A huge turn out enjoyed the Bonfire, fire pits, marshmallows, Plant Nursery, Soup and Garlic bread, student artwork, lantern parade and a beautiful whole school AUSLAN performance.

Thanks to the Longwarry Cfa Fire Station for attending the evening!

Labertouche Primary School’s Inaugural Chess Tournament

And the Inaugural Labertouche Primary School Chess Tournament has concluded today. Flynn and Arthur were locked at 1-1 in the best of 3 Grand Final. Today was the big day…the decider!

It was a crazy start with both Queens gone within 2 mins. From then on it was an intense tussle. Attack. Defence. Attack. Defence. Until Flynn found the decisive move.

Congratulations to Flynn! Our Inaugural Winner! We are so proud of you and the sportsmanship you showed throughout was exceptional! Well deserved!

Congratulations to Arthur. As a Grade 3, very impressive to make the final and to push Flynn to the very end.

Well done to the audience! You were very respectful and supportive throughout the whole tournament!

And to Kieran! You have started something that will be forever entrenched into Labertouche Primary School. Thank you for your leadership, inclusiveness, professionalism and fun! These kids won’t forget this!

A huge shoutout to Jordy, who today represents our school at the Regional Cross Country Championships!

Making it to the regional level is an outstanding achievement. To reach this stage, Jordy first had to perform exceptionally well against other students at school and district and division competitions, earning the opportunity to compete against some of the strongest runners from across the Region.

We are incredibly proud of Jordy for representing our school with such dedication and heart.

Go get em mate!

We are so grateful to the CWA Labertouche Blue Wrens for coming out to school and helping all of our students make cards for our special people, in the lead up to Mother's Day. These ladies facilitate an engaging and fun session and our most very special people, were lucky enough to reap the rewards.

On National Education Support Staff Day, we are privileged to be able to celebrate some of the very best in the business, here at Labertouche Primary School.
Put simply, our beautiful little school community would not be what it is, without these exceptional humans on staff.
