🌟 MEET THE EDUCATOR – LUCKY! 🌟

Today we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful Lucky! 💛

Lucky has been working in Early Childhood Education and Care for 7 years, all of which have been right here at Goodstart Kyneton! 🥰 Over her time with us, Lucky has worked across all age groups, but you’ll most often find her in our Under 3s rooms, where her calm, caring and nurturing nature truly shines. 👶💕

Lucky holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and is passionate about building strong, genuine relationships with children, families and her fellow educators. She is someone our team can always rely on and is a wonderful, consistent presence within our centre. 🌈

📚💛 Little Moments, Big Learning in our Nursery 💛📚

There’s something so special about gathering together for a story! Our Nursery children recently enjoyed a cosy reading experience with one of our educators, creating a beautiful opportunity for connection, communication and learning. 🥰

For our youngest children, reading is so much more than listening to a story. As they sit together, look at the pictures, listen to familiar voices and explore the pages, they are developing early communication and language skills, building their attention and concentration, learning new words and beginning to understand the rhythm and joy of stories. 📖✨

But perhaps most importantly, these moments help to build secure, trusting relationships. ❤️ Sitting close, sharing smiles, responding to children's cues and following their interests helps children feel safe, valued and connected.

These everyday interactions provide a strong foundation for children's learning and development. Through warm, responsive relationships, our educators create an environment where children feel confident to explore, communicate and learn.

Sometimes the simplest moments create the biggest learning. 🌱💕

🌸 MEET THE EDUCATOR – CHLOE! 🌸

We’re so excited to introduce you to our wonderful Chloe! 💕👋

Chloe has been working in Early Childhood Education and Care for 2.5 years and has experience across all age groups, with the majority of her experience being in our Kinder room. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and brings so much enthusiasm, creativity and care to her role.

One of Chloe’s strengths is the beautiful relationships she builds with children, families and fellow educators. She is a happy, caring and reliable member of our team and is always willing to jump in and lend a hand. We are so lucky to have her as part of our Goodstart Kyneton family! 💛

🎨 When she’s at work, Chloe loves getting creative with the children and enjoys planning and participating in lots of fun art experiences. You’ll also often find her singing and dancing with the children, especially when those Disney favourites come on! 🎶💃✨

🏕️ Outside of work, Chloe loves spending time surrounded by family and friends. She enjoys camping, reading, watching movies, heading to the beach and, of course, spending time with her three dogs! 🐶🐶🐶

Chloe’s caring nature, positive attitude and dedication to the children make her a real asset to our Goodstart Kyneton team. 🌟

🌟 MEET THE EDUCATOR – OUR WONDERFUL KATE! 🌟

If you’ve ever wondered how one person can do so many different things, let us introduce you to our wonderful Kate – our very own jack of all trades! 💕✨

Kate has been working in the Early Childhood industry for 15 years and holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care. She is an incredibly valued member of our Goodstart Kyneton team and wears many hats across our service.

Kate has been an Educational Leader across two centres – Goodstart Kyneton and Goodstart Riddells Creek. In this role, she works tirelessly to support educators across both services with programming, practice, professional growth and reflective practice. She is always willing to share her knowledge, lend a helping hand and support our teams to provide the very best experiences for our children. 📚🌱

And if that wasn't enough, Kate has also stepped up to help prepare our delicious meals while we recruit our new cook! 👩‍🍳❤️

You’ll also often find Kate spending time with our littlest friends, offering a comforting cuddle to a baby who is feeling unsettled. Her calm, nurturing nature and beautiful relationships with children are just one of the many things that make Kate so special. 🥰👶

Kate has built wonderful relationships with our educators, children and families, and her willingness to jump in wherever she is needed makes her such an important part of our Goodstart Kyneton family.

When Kate isn't busy being our resident jack of all trades, she loves spending time with her two gorgeous daughters and exploring the world through her love of travelling. ✈️🌏💕

What a fantastic time we had taking part in the Kyneton Daffodil Parade! The sun was shining, the smiles were plentiful, and it was so special to see our Goodstart Kyneton community come together to celebrate. 🌼☀️

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families who joined us and walked alongside our Goodstart Kyneton team. Your enthusiasm, smiles and support made the day even more special. We absolutely loved seeing the children proudly waving, dancing and enjoying the parade!

And of course, we couldn't leave our newest community celebrity behind… Betty Blossom, our beautiful scarecrow, came along for the ride too! 🌻👒 She certainly enjoyed her day out and loved being part of the festivities.

We feel so lucky to be part of such a beautiful little community here in Kyneton. 💛

🌼 MEET THE EDUCATOR – EILEEN 🌼

Today we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful Eileen! 💛

With an incredible 46 years in the Early Childhood Education and Care industry, including 17 amazing years here at Goodstart Kyneton, Eileen brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and love for children to our team.

Eileen holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and you’ll most often find her nurturing and caring for our youngest children in the Nursery Room. 👶💕 Over her many years at Goodstart Kyneton, Eileen has worked across all rooms in our service, building wonderful relationships with generations of children and families along the way.

When Eileen isn’t busy caring for our little ones, she enjoys collecting coins and Enid Blyton books, watching movies, reading, going for walks and spending time with friends – whether she’s visiting them or welcoming them into her home. She also loves nothing more than relaxing after a busy day with the children. 📚🎬🚶‍♀️

And there’s something very special Eileen is looking forward to… 👶💗

At the end of the year, Eileen will become a Grandma for the very first time! 🥰 We couldn’t be more excited for her as she prepares to take on this very special new role.

Thank you, Eileen, for the 17 years of dedication, care and love you have given to our children and families. We are so lucky to have you as part of our Goodstart Kyneton family! 🌻💛

🦷✨ Dental Health Week at Goodstart Kyneton! ✨🦷

We had a very special visit from Woodend Dental as part of Dental Health Week! 🪥🦷

Alison and Jennifer, along with their very impressive giant tooth friend 'Tilly', spent time with our Toddler and Kinder children talking all about the importance of looking after our teeth and keeping those beautiful smiles healthy! 😁

The children had lots of fun getting hands-on with their learning. They used toothbrushes to “clean” the dirt away from teeth, including laminated pictures of mouths that had been made to look dirty using whiteboard markers. The children loved brushing away the marks and seeing their teeth become clean again! 🪥✨

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about:
🦷 Why we need to brush our teeth
🪥 How to look after our teeth
😁 Keeping our smiles healthy
✨ Making tooth brushing fun!

And of course, everyone received a special Dental Health gift pack, including a toothbrush and toothpaste to take home, along with a sticker to celebrate how wonderfully they listened and participated. 💙

A huge thank you to Alison, Jennifer and the team at Woodend Dental for visiting us and helping our children learn such an important part of keeping our bodies healthy! 🦷🪥💗
