On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to welcome Lisa Chesters MP to our Centre!

After touring our Centre and chatting with our wonderful educators, Lisa spent some time with our Kinder children, reading Do Not Open This Book, It Stinks! by Andy Lee.

There were plenty of laughs as the children discovered the messy adventures Wizz had gotten himself into. Thank you, Lisa, for sharing such a fun and engaging story with us!

🎶 Little musicians in the making! 🎶
Our kinder and toddler rooms have been buzzing with music today, and the children have absolutely loved exploring sound, rhythm, and movement through play.
Right now, our favourite songs on repeat are:
• Sleepy Bunnies
• Baby Shark (always a crowd favourite!)
• The Wheels on the Bus
• Dinosaur Stomp (includes yoga)
• Tabanaba
Music isn’t just fun — it’s powerful. Through singing, dancing, and experimenting with instruments, children are building:
• Language skills through rhythm and repetition
• Social skills as they take turns, collaborate, and share instruments
• Confidence as they express themselves creatively
• Fine and gross motor skills through tapping, clapping, and moving their bodies
• Emotional development as they explore feelings through sound
Play-based music experiences help children make connections, develop coordination, and most importantly — feel joy. 💛
