🎶Virtual Storytime no.6 today!

To round out our series, students across Prep–Year 12 will join our College Captains Addison H and Xander G during Connections for a special reading of Dear Broccoli by Jo Dubrowski and Cate James.

As we celebrate Book Week 2026: Symphony of Stories, these virtual storytimes have given our College the opportunity to pause, listen and enjoy stories together — no matter what classroom we are in.

Thank you to our College Captains for helping bring the joy of reading to our students throughout Book Week!

Booktacular - DAY FOUR ✨
The Symphony of Stories took centre stage today! 🎭🎶

We were thrilled to present the Perform Education virtual performance to our Prep-2 students, bringing storytelling, performance and imagination together.
Their performance of CBCA focus texts “Something Special” was a highlight, bringing literature from the page to the stage.

Also, we could not forget a special visit from Collins Booksellers today with our 2-day senior book sale kicking off. Our secondary students had a blast browsing the shelves.

🎶Virtual Storytime no.5 today!
It’s time for another Book Week storytime!

During Connections, our College Captains Eli C and Dakota S will be bringing storytime into classrooms across Prep–Year 12 with a virtual reading of A Loo of One’s Own by Eleri Harris.
This fun and engaging story is another opportunity for students across the College to come together through reading and experience the joy of a shared story.

Booktacular - DAY THREE ✨
The stories continued today with a day dedicated to creativity, imagination and the arts! 🎶🎨📖

Library Staff brought the Library Arts Studio sessions to life with our 3/4 team! Students got creative through a series of hands-on arts workshops inspired by the text Mrs Millies Painting and also a Junk Journalling workshop to keep the creativity going.
It was wonderful to see students engaging with stories in so many different ways — through art, sound, movement, imagination and, of course, books!
