A Bacchus Marsh secondary school will close for at least the rest of the week after a teacher tested positive to Covid-19.

The Bacchus Marsh Grammar School says the teacher attended the school for a staff development day on Monday, but was absent when students started back on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The school says it will work to deep clean the site and is awaiting instruction from the Department of Health.
