Dance Studio SHAYNE'S TAP ’N’ GROOVE has been in existence for the past 30 years and operates out of the Kurri Kurri Girl Guides and Anglican Church halls.

The focus of the studio is FUN, FAMILY AND FRIENDS. Offering classes for ages 2+, Shayne's Tap 'n' Groove offers tuition in:
- Tap
- Jazz
- Acro
- Hip Hop
- Contemporary and Classical classes
- Concert, Exam and Eisteddfod work
- Boys & Girls Hip Hop
- Adult classes
- Move 'n' Groove classes designed for toddlers and their parents. Whether you are a beginner or advanced dancer, Shayne's Tap 'n' Groove is the place where EVERYONE has the chance to shine!

We believe stronger dancers are safer dancers. Building strength, flexibility, control and body awareness helps our students support their technique, work towards new skills and reduce the risk of injury. 🤸‍♀️✨

🌈 Looking for a fun morning activity with the little ones? We highly recommend checking out Cheeky Cherubs Sensory Play! 💜
Their one-hour sensory play sessions are packed with messy fun, creativity, exploration and imagination – the perfect way for little minds (and hands!) to learn through play. 🫧🎨🌈
✨ $15 per child
✨ $10 for each additional sibling
✨ Parents/guardians attend FREE

We’re so excited to launch another NEW class at Studio Tap N Groove! 🩵🩷
Designed especially for little groovers & their parents, Move N Groove Tumble is the perfect blend of movement, play, learning and development—all while having loads of fun! 🤸✨
This exciting class helps children:
🩵 Build confidence and social skills
🩷 Make new friends and lasting memories
🩵 Develop fine and gross motor skills
🩷 Improve balance, coordination, and body awareness through vestibular and proprioceptive activities
🩵 Run by an experienced Acro teacher and prior gymnastics coach & judge. 🤸🏼‍♀️

✨ Welcome Back to Term 3! ✨
Today marks the beginning of an exciting new term, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back into the studio! 🩵🩷
Term 2 was a huge milestone for Studio Tap N Groove as we brought our studio families together. Since then, we’ve been busy making exciting changes behind the scenes—from introducing new programs and opportunities to continuing to create a welcoming space where every dancer can thrive. 💪🏼
We want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing families for your patience, support, and trust throughout this transition. Your encouragement has made this journey so special, and we couldn’t have done it without you. 💕
We’re so excited for everything Term 3 has in store, with new friendships, new challenges, plenty of dancing, and lots of exciting opportunities ahead. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to share what’s next with you! ✨

✨ That’s a wrap on Term 2! ✨
What an incredible term it has been! 🩵🩷
This term has been extra special as we’ve welcomed more families to our studio due to the merging of another. While change can sometimes come with a few challenges, it has been so rewarding to see new friendships formed, our dancers supporting one another, and our studio community continuing to grow stronger. 💪🏼
We want to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing students and families for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support throughout this transition. Your kindness, encouragement, and trust have meant more to us than you’ll ever know, and we’re so grateful to have you on this journey with us. 💕
We are incredibly proud of everything our dancers have achieved this term! From learning new skills and building confidence, to creating lifelong memories. We can’t wait to see what Term 3 has in store!
