Attached is our June calendar, featuring upcoming recognition days, wellbeing initiatives, and other important dates for the month. We hope this helps everyone stay informed and engaged as we move through June.

Some of these special events will be celebrated across the whole centre, while others will be explored within individual classrooms through meaningful experiences. For any whole-of-centre celebrations, we will share more details ahead of time.

We also warmly welcome any ideas or suggestions you may have for June or the months ahead—please feel free to share these with us.

We’re often asked what being not-for-profit really means for our families.

Simply put, it means that our purpose always comes before profit. Every dollar we make is reinvested back into our centres, to provide children with enriching and safe learning environments.

We understand how important it is for children to be in a place where they feel safe and settled. And when families need to make a change - planned or unexpected - we’re here to help make that transition easier.

We’re here to support families when it matters most – because every child deserves a Goodstart! ✨

On Tuesday the 3rd of March, the Kulay Room were fortunate enough to participate in a walking excursion to the local community garden, learning about the road rules as they carefully crossed the roads.
Once there the children participated in a scavenger hunt and spoke about the different flora and fauna they found.

Excursions in early childhood provide hands-on, real-world learning experiences that foster cognitive, social, and emotional development. By exploring new environments, children build confidence, independence, and resilience. These outings stimulate curiosity, strengthen community connections, and enhance sensory learning, promoting both physical activity and deeper understanding beyond the classroom.

Every day, our educators and teachers make hundreds of small decisions that shape a child's confidence, joy and sense of belonging.

We measure impact through research and outcomes — but children experience it in the moments that matter most.

How safe they feel.
How curious they become.
How confident they grow.

This is Goodstart, through the eyes and voices of the children we're here for.
