Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible father figures in our Comleroy Road Public School community! Today, we celebrate and thank the dads, grandads, stepdads, uncles, and all those who provide care, guidance, and support to our students.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Father’s Day surrounded by loved ones. A huge thank you to our amazing P&C and their team of volunteers for organising a beautiful Father’s Day breakfast & gift on Friday! It was truly heartwarming to see our school community come together and celebrate.

Wishing all our families a special day filled with joy and appreciation! 💙

What a fantastic day we had at CRPS, when the Cricket NSW Thunder Bus rolled into school!

Our students had an absolute blast getting active, having a go and enjoying lots of fun on the inflatable activities. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and a whole lot of energy throughout the morning!

A huge thank you to Cricket NSW for bringing the Thunder Bus to our school and giving our students such a fun and memorable experience. We loved having you visit us! 🏏

📚🌿 Honouring Indigenous Literacy Day 🌿📚

On Wednesday, our school proudly joined communities across the nation to celebrate Indigenous Literacy Day. Our classes engaged deeply with authentic Indigenous texts, exploring the rich stories, languages, and cultures that are integral to Australia's heritage.

Students participated in meaningful activities designed to connect them with the voices and traditions of Indigenous peoples. From storytelling sessions to creative art inspired by Indigenous themes, the day was a vibrant opportunity to foster understanding, respect, and appreciation.

We are committed to nurturing a learning environment that values and celebrates Indigenous knowledge and creativity every day.

🌟 Happy School Administrative & Support Staff Recognition Week! 🌟

This week, we proudly celebrate and acknowledge the incredible contributions of our dedicated office staff, School Learning Support Officers, and our General Assistant. Their hard work, care, and commitment help make our school a wonderful place to learn and grow.

From keeping everything running smoothly in the office, to supporting our students in the classroom, to ensuring our school grounds are safe and welcoming…our administrative and support team is at the heart of our community.

🌟 Leadership in Action! 🌟

Our Year 5 students had the wonderful opportunity to hear from Mr Eldridge, a former CRPS student and school captain, who is now a teacher at Glossodia Public School. He spoke to our students about leadership and shared his experiences.

A big thank you to Mr Eldridge for giving up his time to inspire and support our students.

We would also like to thank our current student leaders, who began the session by answering questions about their experiences moving into leadership.

We hope this opportunity has inspired our Year 5 students to consider taking on leadership roles in 2027! 🌟

Last Thursday, we were proud to have 23 students represent our school at the Hawkesbury PSSA Zone Athletics Carnival.

Each and every student represented our school with pride, demonstrating teamwork, sportsmanship, resilience and determination across the track and field events. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they supported and encouraged one another throughout the day.

A big thank you to Mrs Bennett, Mrs Henry, Mrs Mitchell and Mr Jacobs, who accompanied our students and worked hard in their roles as team manager and carnival officials.

Thank you also to our wonderful parents and carers who transported students, cheered from the sidelines and supported our competitors throughout the day.

Finally, thank you to Bligh Park Public School for the organisation and running of another fantastic Zone Athletics Carnival.
