For more than two decades, you’ve filled our community preschool with your cheerful spirit, nurturing heart, and boundless love and care. Your big smile lights up every room, and your joyful, fun energy makes each day brighter for the children, families, and Educators who are lucky enough to know you over the years.

Thank you for all the moments of comfort, the laughter you spark, the confidence you build, and the kindness you show so effortlessly. You continue to spark curiosity and help the children of this community grow during their most important early years. Your steady support and guidance has touched countless young lives, shaping their earliest memories with your warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

🩷🌸 Today is our Day of Action for the Start Strong, Pay Fair Campaign 🌸🩷

We stand together with all Community Preschools across NSW in need of increased State Government support and funding to ensure fair pay for our educators.

Right now, educators in Community Preschools, despite holding the same qualifications and degrees as those in long day care and school settings, are being paid 15–30% less. This pay gap exists solely because our services are not eligible for the same government funding.

We don’t want to raise fees.
We don’t want to lose quality programs or amazing staff.

But without change, these outcomes may become inevitable in our future.

Today’s rally gave us a chance for our voices to be heard but we still need your help to get the message across to the State Government to make these changes and make pay fair for all in our sector. Let’s protect our preschools and the educators who make them great, so we can continue to provide the high quality care for the children of our community.

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces along with welcoming our new friends and families at Preschool when we reopen for Term 1 2025 starting back on Monday 3rd February !!!!
We have also had some exciting renovations over the holidays in which we cant wait to share with you all!!!

Today we met Matt from CreativeKooks with his incursion on ‘Riding the wave of Sustainability’. This program included yoga, balance work, book reading and designing surfboards that were saved from landfill turning them into unique pieces of art and donated to our service.
So much fun!! Yiieeww!!! 🤙🏼 🤙🏼🤙🏼

There are so…so….many different activities and experiences children can learn through sensory play that help foster many different areas of development!!! This experience is a prime example!!! Not only is it a hands on experience, it teaches children about fine moror, alphabet/letter recognition, name recognition, social skills, and so much more!! All of the children today couldn’t wait to have a turn.

What a fun way to finish the week!!! This morning, one of our lovely families donated some Lebanese bread. So what do we do?? We make pizza of course!!!!! All of the children were so excited through the whole process helping to add the ingredients, tasting different and new foods and lots of discussions about the process and when they could smell them while they were cooking. The best part…..eating our delicious creations!!!!! 🍕 🍕🍕🍕🍕

Today our staff did a CPR Refresher Course. We do this yearly to ensure that we stay up to date with the First Aid guidelines and policies around CPR for infants and adults.

Some of the children went to see monster trucks on the weekend. This lead to Kayla making our very own mud pit monster trucks arena! So much fun!
