After the opening night of my solo exhibition, currently running at Black Stump Gallery in Broome, I presented a watercolour class kindly hosted by the lovely Charlainne who opened up her home for us.
Such a lovely group of ladies, it was a pleasure.

The aim of the workshop was to learn how to paint seafoam which is rather tricky, so I demonstrated masking fluid as a tool to achieve the foamy look. This was quite a difficult painting, particularly for beginners, and in the short timeframe to boot, but everyone did really well!

I had to share the progress pics as well as finished earrings made in Sunday’s gelli print earring workshop. How gorgeous are these?

Everyone made these gorgeous prints with gel plates and stencils, then transferred their designs onto earring blanks.

Should I run another workshop like this? Anyone else keen?

Last night’s workshop. We were going to do a few little paintings but everyone loved this pic and chose to do this one instead.

How good are they? Some of these ladies are watercolour beginners but you wouldn’t guess it!
