🪱 Our Worm Friends Are Back!* 🪱
This week we reintroduced our worms to the yard, providing a wonderful hands-on learning experience for the children.
The children have been busy observing the worms and engaging in meaningful conversations about where worms live, what they eat, and the important role they play in helping our environment. Together, we explored how worms enjoy food scraps, leaves, and other natural materials, and how they help create nutrient-rich soil for plants to grow.
These experiences support children's understanding of sustainability, respect for living things, and their connection to the natural world. It has been lovely to see their curiosity grow as they carefully observed, asked questions, and shared their ideas with their friends and educators.
We look forward to continuing to care for our worm farm and discovering more about these amazing little garden helpers! 🌱🪱💚

🍕 Pizza Lunch Day in Kindy! 🍕
Today our Kindy children enjoyed a special Pizza Lunch Day! It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to come together, share a meal with their friends, and practise important social skills such as taking turns, communicating, and building connections.

Over the past few days, the kindergarten children have demonstrated a strong interest in learning about volcanoes, showing enthusiasm and enjoyment in creating their own models. They collaboratively constructed two volcanoes in the sandpit, engaging in shared decision-making and teamwork. The children also worked together to exchange ideas and problem-solve how to design and build a volcano using other materials, further supporting their creativity and cooperative learning skills.
