🌱 Growing little gardeners! 🌱
Our toddlers have been busy planting bean seeds and are now eagerly watching to see what happens next! 🫘🌿
It’s wonderful to see their curiosity as they learn about how plants grow, while caring for their very own little seeds. We can’t wait to watch our beans sprout and grow! 💚

Kindergarten's PE session was all about developing our children’s balance, coordination and engagement, while learning how to support one another.
The children worked together through fun balance activities, encouraging their peers, offering a helping hand and celebrating each other’s successes. 🤝💪
It was wonderful to see them building confidence, practising patience and understanding that working together can help everyone achieve their goals.
A great reminder that PE is not just about physical skills—it’s also about connection, cooperation and supporting each other! ❤️🏃♀️🏃♂️

Recycled posting station as we explore schematic play. EYLF outcome 4. Posting is a form of schematic play that is particularly valuable in the Nursery. Schematic play allows children to explore the world in ways that come naturally to them, while developing important skills such as problem solving, questioning, experimenting and forming their own hypotheses. By providing opportunities for children to follow their natural instincts and repeat actions, educators can nurture their curiosity, encourage a positive disposition towards learning and support children to develop a lifelong love of exploration and discovery.

Pre-Kindy room, we continued our exploration of bugs and insects, building on the children’s strong interest in ladybugs from last week. Many children enjoyed talking about ladybugs, so we read The Grouchy Ladybug and explored the life cycle of a ladybug together.
The children also enjoyed an insect sensory rice tray using natural resources. They discovered different bugs and insects hiding throughout the tray and used their hands and tools to search, scoop, touch and explore. This sensory experience encouraged curiosity, discovery and descriptive language as the children shared what they found.

🦷✨ Dental 2 You visited us today! ✨🦷
We had a wonderful visit from Dental 2 You today! 🪥😁
The children learnt all about how to look after their teeth and the importance of keeping those little smiles healthy. They also talked about “always foods” and “sometimes foods” and how the foods we eat can affect our teeth. 🍎🥕🍭
A big thank you to the Dental 2 You team for making learning about healthy teeth fun, engaging and enjoyable for our children! 💙🦷
