We had an incredible coaching session with Tamworth Basketball out in the sunshine during Vacation Care. Everyone got stuck into learning new skills, having fun, and enjoying the great outdoors. It was fantastic to see so much energy and enthusiasm on the court our kids truly had a ball! A big thank you to Tamworth Basketball for making the day unforgettable. Stay tuned we have more to share about what we got up to during Vacation Care .

🛠️🥚 Can you help us?

Our Vacation Care children are getting ready for our Build It, Break It, Make It Day on Thursday 16th July, and we're looking for donations of materials to help protect our eggs during our engineering challenge!
We're looking for items such as:
📦 Small cardboard boxes
🥚 Egg cartons
🫧 Bubble wrap
📰 Packing materials or anything else that could help cushion and protect an egg.

If you have any of these items lying around that you'd be happy to donate, we'd be so grateful! Donations can be dropped off at our service anytime before Thursday 16th July between the hours of 6:30am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Thank you for helping us create a fun, hands-on learning experience for our children. We really appreciate your support!

Looking for care during the July school holidays? Tintinhull OSHC has an exciting program lined up — packed with hands‑on activities, themed days and plenty of fun with friends. From NAIDOC celebrations and snow‑themed science to cooking with a guest chef, basketball incursions, STEM adventures and even a Disco & PJ Party, there’s something for every child.

Tintinhull OSHC is open 6:30am–6pm, including the pupil‑free day, and welcomes all children from Kindergarten to Year 6 — from any school.
Families can also use their Child Care Subsidy, with some paying as little as around $13 a day with an 80% CCS.

Places are limited, so jump in early.

On Tuesday 27th January, we were excited to welcome Brendan and Duncan from North West Tennis Academy to our OSHC.
Students had a fantastic time developing their skills across tennis, pop tennis, soccer and cricket. It was wonderful to see everyone actively participating, trying new techniques and building confidence through sport.

A big thank you to Brendan and Duncan for an engaging and energetic session that our students thoroughly enjoyed! 🎾⚽🏏

We’ve had a busy and brilliant time at Vacation Care, with some wonderful new faces joining us 🌟

The children got creative, producing beautiful artworks that they proudly displayed on our walls from colourful firework paintings to glowing Chinese lanterns 🎆🏮 They loved getting hands-on (and very messy!) with finger painting covering the tables in paint 🎨
To cool off, everyone enjoyed making their own ice-cream sundaes with a delicious range of toppings 🍦 And to top it all off, the children helped cook a yummy lunch of fried rice, dim sims and spring rolls as we celebrated and welcomed in the Year of the Horse 🐎🥢
Smiles, creativity and full tummies all around! 😊

What a Wonderful Two Weeks at Vacation Care!

Everyone had a fantastic time over the two weeks at Vacation Care, filled with creativity, adventure, and lots of laughter! The children have been busy making beautiful crafts, trying their hand at some delicious cooking, and enjoying plenty of active play outdoors.

One of the highlights was replanting our vegetable garden our young green thumbs got to work planting carrots, spring onions, radishes, silverbeet, and cauliflower. They're already excited to watch their crops grow and can't wait for harvest time!

In the kitchen, we had fun decorating Easter biscuits and making a sweet Easter fudge. The children loved chopping, mixing, and of course, tasting their creations!

We also got creative making bubble wands out of pipe cleaners. It took a little experimenting to get the bubbles just right, but once the trick was discovered, bubbles were everywhere, even balancing on little hands!

It was a joyful and engaging fortnight, and we can't wait to see what the next adventure brings!
