📚✨While we are celebrating Book Week here at Preschool, we wanted to share how proud we are of our wonderful Gilay teacher, Bec!
Her beautiful book A Hug Across the Sea has arrived at our book week, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this incredible achievement. 🎉

Families can find copies available to purchase in our preschool foyer — perfect for story time, bedtime, or a special gift.

And… 🤫 we’re hearing a little whisper that a second book may already be in the works. How exciting to watch Bec’s creative journey unfold!!

Our preschool children have loved watching the incredible transformation of a butterfly and learning all about the different stages of its lifecycle!

This hands on experience has sparked so much curiosity, wonder and conversation as the children observed the changes happening right before their eyes.

We are still eagerly waiting for our second butterfly to hatch.

There really is something magical about watching nature in action.

This Friday, we’re celebrating Daffodil Day and Book Week!

Preschoolers are invited to come dressed in yellow for Daffodil Day or wear their favourite Book Week costume. Whether it's a bright yellow outfit or a beloved storybook character, we can't wait to see everyone's creativity shine!

We look forward to a fun-filled day of stories, imagination, and supporting a wonderful cause. 💛📖

We encourage families to pack a healthy and balanced lunchbox each day to help give children the energy they need to learn, play and grow. Fresh fruit and vegetables, sandwiches or wraps, yoghurt, cheese and other nutritious options are great everyday choices, with packaged foods kept as occasional options where possible.
A friendly reminder that chocolate is not to be included in children's lunchboxes. Kootingal Preschool is also a nut-free service, so please ensure that no nuts or nut products are packed in your child's lunchbox.
Thank you for working with us to encourage healthy eating habits and helping us keep preschool a safe and healthy environment for all children.
