We hope everyone from our Koondrook/Barham community are looking forward to our first fundraiser of the year.. Picture Plates... forms will be handed out before the end of term to all students at our preschool. Lodgment of forms with final works happening within the first 3 weeks of term 2... if any of our past and new families are interested in this awesome keepsake (makes the perfect gift for family members)... please come in and grab a form from myself, Cassie or Kylie. 9am to 3pm, Wed to Fri.

Today, the children began their morning making their houses using blocks, duplo, and assorted materials. Children began identifying with nature, using stickle bricks to make an echinda and a discussion on what things they have in their own garden, such as slides, swimming pools, and chickens.
This led to a discussion on vegie patches and what different kinds of foods we eat.
We then went on a walk to explore our old veggie patch, where the children harvested their cherry tomatoes, providing enough for our families to take home and the children to share in their hard work.
With all the gardening, we returned to the new preschool and continued exploring the joys of nature by getting our feet all muddy in our new mud patch.

At Koondook Preschool we love supporting children through play as they explore and connect with the world around them. With the provision of natural and man-made materials, children can draw meaning and create their own understanding and connections within their environment.

Welcome to the New Koondrook Preschool FB page.
We are excited to be welcoming new families into our service (and new building) for 2023.

This page has been made to share with the local community and the families, giving everyone an insite on the beautiful learning experiences, programing and unpcoming events held at the preschool.

We will be working alongside the Primary School to build strong relationships between students and educators and looking forward to welcoming the community to be actively involved.

Personal invites will be sent to new families where they will be able to welcome extended family members to the page.
